[ADVISE] Help in Assembling/Building/Choosing/Upgrading Your Computer

Hi guys,

I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:

other miscellaneous requirements:

*If to be used for gaming,. please indicate the games you wish to play.

The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.

also please put your requests in this format:

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

Sir paki tignan naman po tong build ko if magkano po siya at kung kaya niya mga mabibigat na games in high settings like witcher 2 and skyrim..

Ano po marecommend nyo na GPU na almost magkapresyo lang sa GTX 560, I think nasa 9k ata yan (EVGA).

He probably chose i5 3570 over i7 3770 coz you wouldn't need the i7. i7 is faster but i5 3570 is enough for your gaming needs and choosing i7 would only be a waste. The difference is i7 has Hyper Threading which is only useful if you run multiple programs at once or do a lot of work on your PC. For example, you're playing a demanding modern game while photoshopping while editing a video.

Oh and, you can save a few thousand if you buy an i5 3570 without the "K." The "K" in the end means it has an unlocked multiplier which you can use in overclocking but I doubt you want to overclock coz it will void your warranty.

Oh I never knew that overclocking will void one's warranty. Thank for enlightening up things akimikage!

What do you guys think about GeForce 660-TI Power Edition OC and Sapphire HD 7950 OC? Also, is Palit GTX 660 Ti Jetstream and Nvidia GeForce 660 Ti the same? if not, what's their key difference?

Power Edition ng MSI at Jetstream ng Palit is just what they call their inhouse cooling technology at kailangan mo lang pansinin yan if you're into overclocking your GPU at importante talaga sayo ang performance.

Battlefield 3? Singleplayer or multiplayer? A quick look kailangan mo na mag shift sa new paltform at definitely a more competent video card.

in terms po na may pinakamagandang cooling system.

ask ko na din po yung brand ng 20" na monitor na may pinakamataas na rating para sa inyo. pang gaming po.

So far stocks pa lang from Palit ang dumadating dito sa pinas so wala rin masyado choice.

Sir sariling build ko po to, first time kong mag build eh hehe kaya ganyan sabog.. pero yung case eh mid atx po yun.. may suggestion po ba kayo na mas mainam? thanks
