[ADVISE] Help in Assembling/Building/Choosing/Upgrading Your Computer

Hi guys,

I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:

other miscellaneous requirements:

*If to be used for gaming,. please indicate the games you wish to play.

The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

Nope, mag stand out lang yung low end GPU mo hehe. Make sure to update the BIOS of the mobo bago ka mag IB na i5.

i am new to symbianize, papatulong lng po sana to choose vcard for my rig, if anything na me mali sa parts feel free to comment,
anyway i want to play diablo 3 and crysis sna.

budget is 7-8k (my choice sana is palit geforce gtx560 1gb ddr5 256bit)

Bibilhin mo pa lang ba yan? Kailangan ayusin hehe. Caviar Green is very slow kung gagamitin mong boot at storage drive yan.

Hindi mo kailangan maging scientist para intindihin yan hehe. It's just simple English.

Ibig sabihin hindi balanced yung build mo. Naka i5 ka nga pero low end naman ang video card mo. Stand out = madali mapansin.

You should have done some more research ganda pa naman ng CPU at MOBO mo and the rest needs to be tweaked kaso wala na magagawa hehehe.

SSD is always good para sa OS pero it comes with a price din, not practical for the average person.

Battlefield 3? Singleplayer or multiplayer? A quick look kailangan mo na mag shift sa new paltform at definitely a more competent video card.

good day mga sir..balak ko na po sana bumili ng video card..yung HD 7850 OC sa i5-2320 ko..ok lang ba kung ipa-lbc na lang ng bibilan ko na shop? o mas ok na personally ko puntahan para matest at iwas possible damages s handling ng courier? ok po ba bumili ng vs these days? or wait ko na yung Christmas season kung may mga promos sila? thanks :noidea:

sir, what do you mean "tweaked"? mjo kinapos lng po sa budget, if mgkapera ngaun pasko, plitan ko rin ng 8gb Gskill ripjaws un memory ko and 60gb intel SSD,.

priority ko is vcard tlg sna. hope 4 ur advice po. :thumbsup:

First time ko din pong magbuild ng pc. Budget po is 15k. Gagamitin po sya for gaming like BF3, CrossFire, L4D. At yung kaya din magrun ng programming applications like netbeans at sql. Thanks po!

Ok lang kung ipaship mo yung item pero kailangan iguarantee nung pagbibilhan mo matino yung pagkakapackage nila.

So far price drop na ang 7000 series i doubt kung may ibababa pa yan kahit christmas.

- Getting the i3-2120 opens up for a cheaper H61 mobo
- Kuha ka muna 1x4 na RAM tapos bili ka nalang ulit at a later time para maging dual channel na 2x4 8GB na
- And of course a higher and better GPU for the same budget

Kung Ivy Bridge na i5 kukunin mo hindi sya compatible sa mobo unless makuha mo sya na update na ang bios which is a slim chance.
