Hi guys,

I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:
Code:
budget:
usage:

other miscellaneous requirements:

*If to be used for gaming,. please indicate the games you wish to play.

The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.

also please put your requests in this format:

Processor:
Motherboard:
RAM:

Video Card:

Hard Drive:
Optical Drive:

Power Supply:
Casing:

monitor:

Accessories:

please indicate (at least)the size of the hard disk desired, and also what you need/have/prefer.

Thanks.

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

An example post would be as follows:
Hi. Please help me buy a computer for my son. He will be using it mainly for school and some games. He likes to play Dota and L4D. Our budget for the PC would be 20K. We already have a printer, monitor and speakers. Our monitor is a 17" CRT monitor. My son said he prefers 1gb video card.

Thank you.

Salamat dito, sir. Anong monitor po kaya angcompatible dito? Bibili na po kasi ako bukas e.

Sir ano po inputs niyo dito?

option 1
cpu, i3-4150 Haswell-R - 5100php
mobo, Gigabyte GA-H97M-D3H - 4400php or Gigabyte GA-H81M-DS2 - 2700php
ram, ADATA 4GB 1600 - 2000php (Hindi ko po alam exact model yan lang po meron sila ng 1600)
hdd, Seagate 1tb (ST1000DM003) - 2,750php
gpu, Sapphire R9-270 Dual X OC with Boost 2GB-256bit GDDR5 - 8200php
atx, Aerocool gt advance case black - 1650php
Total:
24050php (H81)
25750php (H97)

option 2
cpu,Intel Pentium G3258 3.2 GHz (unlocked multiplier) - 3,300php
mobo, MSI H81M-P33 - 2,350php
ram, ADATA 4GB 1600 - 2000php (Hindi ko po alam exact model yan lang po meron sila ng 1600)
gpu, Sapphire R9-270 Dual X OC with Boost 2GB-256bit GDDR5 - 8200php
atx, Aerocool gt advance case black - 1650php
hdd, Seagate 1tb (ST1000DM003) - 2,750php
Total:
21900php

Question:

(overkill po ba yun?) or mag 4GB DDR3-1333 or 4GB DDR3-1866?

4.1 Any idea po how much SRP ng ADATA 4GB 1600?

5.1 Any idea din po how much SRP ng FSP 450?

6. Sir overkill po ba yung GPU na R9-270? baka po kasi 18.5-19.5 inch lang na monitor yung makuha ko which is 1600 x 1200 ?

6.1 Mag r7260x nalang po ba or 750Ti ? anu po suggest niyo?

7. If ma stretch ko po budget at makakuha ng 21.5inch na monitor na 1920x1080 resolution ok lang po ba sa r7 260x or 750Ti OR mag stay nalang sa R9 270?

Sana po ay matulungan niyo ako
Thanks in advance

Hello po! Can you help me build a gaming cpu. Budget 30-40k. Atleast 8-16gb ram, 2/4gb video card, i5processor, 1tb HDD, with liquid cooling system, kasama na din yung case.
Tapos kaya mag run smoothly ng games like Assassin's Creed series, NFS rivals, Watch Dogs, and other latest games. Thanks!:salute:

Hi mga bossing... pa-advise naman ako for my build for gaming and HD movies streaming usage.

PROCIE: Intel Core i7-4790 3.6~4.0 GHz Haswell Refresh 14,150.00
MOBO: Gigabyte GA-H97-Gaming 3 5,650.00
RAM: Gskill RipjawsX 8GB Dual DDR3 1600 CL7 Ram 3,950.00
ODD: Asus 24X DVDwriter SATA DRW-24B5ST 950.00
HDD: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 2,630.00
GPU: (to acquired later)
PSU: Seasonic S12II 620W 80PLUS Bronze 3,300.00
CASING: Xigmatek Asgard 382 Mid Tower 2,090.00

TOTAL: 32,720.00

QUESTIONS:
1. For the mean time, (wala pa kasi akong GPU) pwede ko ba malaro yong mga flash games sa FB, ragnarok online at SC1 & SC2
with no lags using HD 4600 iGPU?
2. Kaya ba ng PSU ko if I purchase GTX 660 ti GPU tapos mag-add pa ako ng about 2~3 case fan?
3. Meron kasi akong option sa MOBO ko, which is Asus B85-PRO GAMER, maging compatible kaya to sa procie ko by just updating its BIOS?
5. OK lang kaya if I will downgrade my Procie to core i5-4690?
6. Or you can suggest any Intel build, 30K budget (without GPU).

Hope you can help me po.
:thanks: in advance.

IMO
1. Kaya nyan sir ewan lang sa sc2
2. Kaya nya ulit yan
3. Yep compatible po at pwede din po na may makuha kayong new stocks with updated bios
4. Opo basta't di nyo kelangan yung ibang features
6.

Intel Core i5-4590 up to 3.70GHz (Quad Core) Haswell Refresh Processor
ASRock H97M ₱4,200.00

Re: [ADVISE] Help in Choosing Your Computer

ano po bang mganda pang gaming? AMD or INTEL po?

It depends on your preference. If you don't care about the heat output that your system may produce, and you don't give a f*ck about the power consumption, and you want a better price-performance ratio go for the AMD build.

Intel may be the best choice for a single-core performance processor, but some games are starting to have benefits on having more core/threads.
