I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:

*If to be used for gaming,. please indicate the games you wish to play.


The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

Open budget basta po makakalaro ng dota2 na wlang lag..yung wla po vcard...kung meron po kaya ng high setting...pang comp shop po...amd po

ano po ba mas magandang bilhin rx 480 o gtx 1060.kung pwede paki sabi nrin kung ano pros and cons ng dalawa ty

as of whats available now, the gtx1060 is the better buy. its cheaper and more power efficient. it only loses in vulkan/dx12 titles. thats the only advantage of rx480. and ofcourse, bitcoin mining. seeing your rig isnt built for it, thats the least of your concern.

I would probably go with i3-6xxx. the gaming performance would be most likely very close since the gpu isn't that fast. productivity wise, the i5 would probably have a significant lead. any application that will heavily depend on gpu processing would most likely have the i5 hold no advantage. plus, intels next cpu will also sport a new socket so it would be harder for you to find older boards in the long run, incase it happens.

kaya ng PSU mo since ang TDP ng 1070 is only 150w
bottleneck lang ang CPU kung ang game na lalaruin mo ay CPU intensive din.

Since lumabas na ang 1060 baka mag 1060 nalang ako instead of 1070. Ang budget ko for this time is 25k including monitor kasya ba?

guys ask ko lang kung ok na ung 21.5 inch na monitor kung ako procie mo ay i5-6600k or i5-6500 at ung gpu mo is gtx 160 or rx 480?

madami klase ng monitor hindi lang sa screen size up to now ang standard na monitor is 24 inch 1080p

nxt is hz 75hz ,120hz , 144 hz dati premium ang 144hz ngaun kaya na ang mahal na ngaun is un may freesync at gync EXCEPT the new release monitor na 75 hz with free sync anu advantage nyan NO SCREEN TEARING pwede nman kahit wala using VSYNC kaso INPUT LAG malaki lalo na kung low end ang gpu

another one is un screen ration 16:9 ata correct me if im wrong ang standard sa 1080p while ang ultrawide na nauuso na is 21:9 mahaba XD

hingi lang po ako ng suggestion kung ano magandang 2.1 speaker.

Guys, normal lang ba yung System Reserved sa Hard drive nanggaling? naka SSD kasi ako, dun ko inistall yung OS (windows 10), after ma-install, chineck ko sa computer management. Dun ko nakita na sa Hard drive siya kumuha ng para sa system reserved na 500MB hindi sa SSD.

ok nayan pero sympre midrange lang gpu mo hindi lahat ng games mataas fps pag ultra high pero under 30 fps kaso pangit un dapat 60 + kaw nlang bahala sa settings

nahihirapan din ako sa monitors lalo sa brand mas maganda talga makita mo personal 2lad nun asus vq24qe kaso mahak 14-17k dami kasi abubot like speakers 3d etc.. 144hz lang nman mahalaga ikaw na bahala tingnan mo sa mga reviews

2nd hand ? 3rd gen eh tapos gpu/cpu laster 4-5 years ago pwede nman kung sulit sa presyo problema quality kasi gamit na pera nlang kung pinag kaka tiwalaan mo nag benta ,alin sa 2 un i5 at 780 sympre un 660ti ka2mbas nyan r9 270x ting 4k-3k nlang ngaun pero dating 14k nun 2012 budget gpu un 780 nman yan high end tig 40k yan dati ka2mbas nya ngaun is r9 280x kaya mas0 bagay sau yan gta v

btw alam ko malaks sa power ang gtx 780 wait mo ibang recommendation baka d kayanin ng 450w psu
