[ADVISE] Help in Assembling/Building/Choosing/Upgrading Your Computer

Hi guys,

I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:

other miscellaneous requirements:

*If to be used for gaming,. please indicate the games you wish to play.

The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.

also please put your requests in this format:

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

mag-i5 Kaby Lake ka na lng. or w8 mo yung AMD Ryzen na equivalent ng i5 nalimutan ko ang name haha :lol:

Boss Pa advise namn kung sakto na ang build? ano pa pwede ma adjust to more cheaper components?

for a 60 hz ips panel may mas mura pa dyan kun . Gaming monitor hanap mo lg may free sync 75hz or un benq/zowie na 75 hz , mahal mobo mo chek kapa mas mura dyan pero sapat sa ports na kelangan mo

wala nmn po nagsuggest, ang alam ko lng kc tlga bumili ng pang AMD, may nagsuggest po kc sakin na magtanong ako dito kung ano kaylangan palitan or baguhin. ang problema lng po b ung processor ko??

kung magpapalit ka ng processor, malamang kasamang papalitan ang motherboard... tapos depende sa mobo, malamang pati RAM... kasi ddr4 na ang typcal na ginagamit ngayon... atsaka overpriced ang ddr3 sa ngayon :slap:

Guys balak ko bumili ngayong summer ng GTX 1050 Ti. Hindi ba bottleneck sa unit ko. At gusto ko sana mag upgrade pa sa future ano po masuggest nyo? Salamat ng marami.

hindi bote yan. pero dagdag ka ng ram. useless bumili ng malakas na gpu kung mabibitin ka naman sa ram. i smell a generic psu also. you might want to change that. ipon ka rin for ssd.

you can read reviews about it since they will give you technical details about it. usually, generics have low output but have high peaks. maybe on your case, it only has 300w output but peaks at 600w. if your rig needed 350w stable all the time, that psu will pop. its not happening to you because your current rig probably never exceeded its maximum. id say about 150w on peak. thats probably even very rare. the a8-7600 + 2x 4gb 1.8v that were tested on another forum only had max of 120w on full load.

Saan ko po ba makikita kung generic siya? Picturan ko mamaya paguwi ung psu ko tpos send ko dito para makita nyo po kung generic sya. At kung generic ung psu ko ano po ba marecommend nyo na budget psu with 600w. Bibili po kasi ko ng Palit GTX1050TI 4gb DUAL OC.
Diba yung PCI Express Slot x16 Slot sa mobo ay para sa videocard yun? Salamat.

tignan mo yung brand at model ng power supply mo. may sticker yan usually sa gilid indicating its power rating. then google mo at tignan mo reviews... pero generally speaking, mga true rated psu medyo pleasing at hindi cheap tignan. yung tipong stainless aluminum or bakal lang yung case at typical ketchup and mustard (yellow & red) cables lang without even any cable sleeves.

autocad is well optimized and not a very demanding program. most ng CPU operations ng autocad only utilizes 2 cores. you'll just need lots of RAM. magbebenefit ka lang sa more cores at GPU if you do lots of 3d solids and surfaces and real time rendering.

Processor: i5 7500 = 10470
Motherboard: gigabyte ga-b250m-hd3 = 4300
RAM: Gskill aegis 16gb dual ddr4 2400 = 5750
Video Card: Palit Gtx 1050ti = 7050
Hard Drive: (NVME SSD) Samsung 850 EVO 250gb = 5450 (pwedeng cheaper 120gb or 240gb normal ssd lang for 2.3k or 3.3k respectively)
optional HDD: seagate or wd 1tb + 2500
Optical Drive: why? asus 24x = 800
Power Supply: Seasonic S12II 520w = 2750
Casing: Tecware Edge = 1400
Total: 40,460
total without optional hdd & odd = 37,170
i think you can also shave off the price if you go for the equivalent older skylake build... pero... who cares about skylake anymore? :lol:
