[ADVISE] Help in Assembling/Building/Choosing/Upgrading Your Computer

I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:

*If to be used for gaming,. please indicate the games you wish to play.


The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

a monitor is just a peripheral. the thing with peripherals is, you can spend as little or as much as you want into it. kung gusto mo ng 144hz, 1440p, ultrawide, gsync na monitor... expect to spend more than 20k...
better set a budget or pili ka lang ng features na gusto mo saka ka mag-hunt ng pasok sa panlasa mo

parang nadale ka dyan sa nabili mo ah... estimate ko nasa 42k~43k lang yan eh
medyo decent naman yang system na yan, pwede mo lagay kahit 1080ti dyan.

pwede naman... pero yan ang isang magandang example ng "Bottleneck"
masyadong malakas ang video card mo at mahina naman ang CPU. kung ikukumpara mo performance ng ganyang combination against an i5 8600k (OC to 4.9ghz) with the same GPU, malaki ang FPS difference dahil mas malakas ang computation power ni i5.

matagal ng walang official windows 7 support mga pc hardware

kung gusto mo talaga windows 7 install mo dyan, then do your research

amd ryzen and intel i3 to i9 7th gen pataas is not supported win 7 so stick with win 10

usually samsung evo/pro makikita mo sa top ng mga benchmark sites. both ssd & nvme.

but interns of price, baka sandisk and WD.

hingi lang ulit ako ng tulong. Salamat boss themonyo sa set up nabuo ko na kahapon.
Problema ko naman ngayon network drivers ng mobo ko Gigabyte B360M D3H. wala ko masearch sa net.
tapos may nakita ako ayaw naman mainstall kahit naka .exe file sya.

pwede na siguro if you are willing to compromise between the portability of a laptop (well, medyo mabigat yan pero tecnically, portable pa rin) and the power, performance, upgradability of your desktop.
1050 lang gpu nyan ha... it, pwede mo upgrade yang gpu nyan pero kelangan mo maghunt sa ebay ng MXM profile na GPU.

Pwede ko pala iupgrade GPU nitong Laptop? wala kasi ako makitang tutorial sa net na upgradable pala GPU ng Asus ROG GL553vd. saka may concern lang din ako sa temp ng CPU pag nag lalaro ako like GTA5 Naabot na kasi ng 70 ung temp nya.. ano kaya possible solution don?

edit: may VACUUM COOLER na din po ako gamit pero still mataas pa din temp. ng CPU pag nasa gaming na ako pero pag normal browsing nasa 50-60 lang..
NOTE: hindi po aircon ung location ko. pero naka tutok naman ung electric fan sa laptop buko pa sa VACUUM COOLER.
