Hi guys,

I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:
Code:
budget:
usage:

other miscellaneous requirements:

*If to be used for gaming,. please indicate the games you wish to play.

The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.

also please put your requests in this format:

Processor:
Motherboard:
RAM:

Video Card:

Hard Drive:
Optical Drive:

Power Supply:
Casing:

monitor:

Accessories:

please indicate (at least)the size of the hard disk desired, and also what you need/have/prefer.

Thanks.

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

An example post would be as follows:
Hi. Please help me buy a computer for my son. He will be using it mainly for school and some games. He likes to play Dota and L4D. Our budget for the PC would be 20K. We already have a printer, monitor and speakers. Our monitor is a 17" CRT monitor. My son said he prefers 1gb video card.

Thank you.

https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/B360M-D3H-rev-10#support-dl
at dahil wala kang network card driver, pwedeng maki-rent sa computer shop or kahit sa phone mo lang. gamit ka lang ng usb otg or usb cable to get the downloaded files from your phone to your pc.

well, i'm not really sure pero most kasi ng mga high end gaming laptop na lumabas these past few years gumagamit ng MXM version ng GPU. though mahirap maghanap sa ebay at napakamahal lalo na kung mga high end gpu yung ilalagay mo. i've encountered these MXM cards on Alienware, MSI, Gigabyte, Acer and ASUS...

this is not a PUBG optimization thread... unless gusto mo mag-upgrade ng PC mo to gain reasonable playing performance in PUBG.

magkano budget mo? kelangan mo pa ba ng monitor, keyboard and mouse? any other preference?

there are a few factors to consider when choosing a monitor...
video card = either AMD or Nvidia if you want adaptive sync
adaptive sync = gsync or freesync. mahabang paliwanag... pero prevents screen tearing and reduce stuttering.
type of panel = IPS, VA, TN
TN = kung mahilig ka sa fast paced FPS games with very fast response time (1~2ms), go for a TN panel... though color accuracy and reproduction is not as good. also bad viewing angles.
IPS = has the best color accuracy but has the slowest response time... pero most IPS panels nowadays are around 5ms... which is not bad at all... the best and most expensive maybe have around 4ms of response time. best use for professionals that work in colors like photo and video editing. has around 178deg of viewing angle.
VA = a good transition between the 2 panels above. around 3~4ms response time and great color reproduction and good viewing angle.
grey to grey (GTG) response time = Its basically the time it takes for a pixel to change from one color value to another. Faster response time means less ghosting. already discussed above for case use.
aspect ratio = luma is 4:3, current standard 16:9, utlrawide (21:9) [should be 7:3 ], 16:10 [should be 8:5 ]... these are purely based on your personal preference :noidea:
refresh rate = 60hz (standard), 75hz; 90hz; 120hz; 144hz; 160hz; 240hz... also, this will be based on your personal preference. this is supposed to define how much frames your monitor can produce for your eyes to see. ako, i can't seem to distinguish anything above 90hz :slap:

buy what you see is good looking
it is a peripheral kaya you can spend as much or as little as you want...

More on offline game lang naman ako boss. Ang prefer ko kasi good for gaming then widescreen monitor. Or mas malaki sa 24inch.

ako kasi, i use my pc mainly for work and i do a lot of CAD and other technical drawing stuff... hindi maganda mag-edit kung curved ang display mo sa mga technical drawings :slap: kaya secondary lang ang gaming. i can do with 60hz... but i would prefer something around 75~90hz refresh rate atsaka 1440p na reso. if i could afford a 3440x1440 much better... pero, di naman masama mangarap :pacute:
forgot to mention kung balak mo mag-adaptive sync... Gsync is usually around 10k more expensive than it's Freesync equivalent.

Kasi may priority narin kasi ako ngayon. May nakita ako almost 20k.tsaka ayaw kosa curved monitor xD BenQ 27 GW2765HT LED IPS QWHD 2560 x 1440p 4ms. 1440p sya xD

pag walang gsync, usually freesync capable na yan... which is pares sa current gpu mo . syempre pag nagpalit ka ng nvidia, di mo na mapapakinabangan ang freesync.
