Hi guys,

I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:
Code:
budget:
usage:

other miscellaneous requirements:

*If to be used for gaming,. please indicate the games you wish to play.

The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.

also please put your requests in this format:

Processor:
Motherboard:
RAM:

Video Card:

Hard Drive:
Optical Drive:

Power Supply:
Casing:

monitor:

Accessories:

please indicate (at least)the size of the hard disk desired, and also what you need/have/prefer.

Thanks.

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

An example post would be as follows:
Hi. Please help me buy a computer for my son. He will be using it mainly for school and some games. He likes to play Dota and L4D. Our budget for the PC would be 20K. We already have a printer, monitor and speakers. Our monitor is a 17" CRT monitor. My son said he prefers 1gb video card.

Thank you.

hi ask ko lang guys,
bibili kasi ako ng RAM:
Zeppelin
4GB 1333mhz ddr3

Mobo:
ASRock H81M-DGS R2.0

If may existing ram ka and gusto mo mag add, check mo yung existing ram mo kung DDR3 1333 and be sure na 1.5v. (different voltage will not work most of the time, also mixing DDR3L with DDR3 will not work)

thanks boss!

eto kasi yung existing na RAM ko,
Apacer-4GB-DDR3-PC3 12800 CL11-DDR3-UNB

then bibile ako ng zeppelin ram

mag kaiba ang speed ng ram mo vs Zeppelin na pinost mo, better find also a 1600mhz na DDR3 ram.

PC3 12800 / 8 = 1600 (existing ram mo)

Zeppelin = 1333 (also I think this is CL9 since 1333 sya)

Re: [ADVISE]Help you build/choose a Computer

Re: [ADVISE]Help you build/choose a Computer

anu pong b350 board ang maganda? yung 5-6k budget?

i would recommend the following:
AsRock AB350M Pro 4 = 4600 (mATX)
Asus Prime B350-A = 4690 (mATX)
Asus Prime B350 Plus = 5700 (ATX size)

I'm using 2 wireless mice. Logitech G602 & MX Master.
the same holds true sa wireless keyboard.

depende sa manufacturer at model ng wireless gadget mo, mostly wala naman problema sa response time or input lag. kung ano performance sa laptop/mobile gadget mo, it should perform the same sa desktop pc.

monitor for 2800? 2nd hand siguro? :noidea:

Planning to build pero hrap parin makapagdecide dahil sa RAM and GPU. Thank you po!!

CPU: Intel Core i5-8400
Mobo: MSI b360m bazooka
RAM: Gskill Aegis 8GB Dual DDR4 2400 CL15
GPU: Gigabyte GTX 1050 TI OC 4GB GDDR5

about sa monitor, i have no idea sa brand na yan... pero kung pasok na sa panlasa mo, then go for it :noidea:
personally, i would recommend the brands from: lg, dell, samsung, hp, benq, acer

if you are talking about the cpu fan, kailangan kung may "K" (8600k, 8700k, 8086k, etc) yung bibilhin mong processor kasi walang bundled pag binili mo sila. the rest, merong stock fan at pwede ng pagtyagaan.
CPU: Intel i5-8400 = 9,350.00
MoBo: Asus Prime B360M-A = 5840
RAM: GSkill Ripjaws V 16GB 2x8gb 2400Mhz CL17 = 9400
GPU: Galax GTX 1060 EXOC White 6gb = 19000
PSU: Seasonic S12II 620W 80PLUS = 3350
CASE: InWin 503 Mid Tower Windowed = 2900
SSD: Adata XPG SX6000 M.2 256gb PCIe = 4350
HDD: Western Digital WD Caviar Blue 2TB = 3280

Note: Prices are from dynaquest's website. call and verify availability of parts first before going to their store.

keyboard: kung gusto mo mag-mechanical, i would recommend going to the mechanical keyboards thread bago ka mag-desisyon kung anong keyboard bibilhin mo. may kanya-kanya tayong preference sa type of switches na gagamitin kaya better read or try them first before buying. mga sikat na brands of mechanical keyboards are corsair, razer, logitech, cooler master
mouse: i would recommend na same brand ang bilhin mo with your keyboard para 1 lang ang software na gagamitin nyo lalo na sa mga macros and rgb synchronization and patterns. other brands to consider sa gaming mouse: roccat & zowie (also include the brands from the keyboards) [REVIEWS]Gaming Mouse Reviews and Tambayan
speakers: meh :noidea:

Planning to build pero hrap parin makapagdecide dahil sa RAM and GPU. Thank you po!!

Mobo: MSI b360m bazooka
RAM: Gskill Aegis 8GB Dual DDR4 2400 CL15

well, b350 mobos are just built and packaged better overall :noidea:

google is your friend

Assemble computer

Planning to assemble din ako. Yung ideal for slight gaming, video editing, at for school work po sana. Budget ko 20k.
