[ADVISE] Help in Assembling/Building/Choosing/Upgrading Your Computer

I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:

other miscellaneous requirements:

*If to be used for gaming,. please indicate the games you wish to play.


The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

Ano po kayang compatible na gpu dito for video editing and mid gaming na din? MSI gtx 1050ti sana, di ko sure kung compatible.
Balak ko na din po lagyan ng 1Tb hdd, at additional fan.
company pull out lang po kaya tyaga iupgrade.
Any advice po on build..

that looks like it's using a proprietary power interface. i don't see the standard 24pin motherboard power connector. i also have doubts sa motherboard stand-off positions na hindi sakto sa typical ATX/mATX connections... which means mahihirapan ka rin maghanap ng case na paglalagyan..
2nd hand 1050ti is a decent option for upgrade... pero there are other better performing options already out there sa 2nd hand market... yun ay depende sa PSU mo...
upgrade recommendations:
HDD - 2200 1tb hdd, or go for 2tb for 3k
PSU - heto ang duda ako... base sa picture, hindi standard na ATX ang gamit nya. at mga ganyang OEM psu, usually 350w or less lang ang true rating nyan. 500w is peak rating typically and not recommended for extended usage. magandang dalhin mo to sa supplier bago ka magdecide na palitan to. baka di rin gumana.
GPU - kung tama duda ko sa PSU, magiging limited ang option mo sa GPU upgrade... baka kelangan mo maghanap ng GPU na walang external power na requirement... something like a geforce 1660 or the likes. kung makahanap ka ng 2nd hand na 1050ti na walang 6 pin power requirement, then good for you.
RAM - since 2 slot lang, option mo is to replace both with 2x8gb sticks...

other upgrade options:
USB Type C PCI expansion card. (around 500petot)
Wifi adapter (802.11AC) and bluetooth (4.1 or 5)

Kung OEM system to, pwede na siguro yung GTX 1050 Ti na walang external power na required (no 6-pin).

Again, duda ako sa mobo at psu mo... Mukhang proprietary eh
Walang 24pin mobo connector
Hindi ba mas madali kung maghanap ka na rin lang ng 2nd hand mobo para wala na rin problema sa case at psu compatibility?

Oo nga no. Late ko na nakita yung picture nung loob ng unit mo. Ngayong nakita ko na, same suggestion/reason na ng kay sir themonyo, mas mabuti na magpalit ka na din ng motherboard. Malamang pati case/chassis din kasi kung OEM yan baka hindi fit dyan yung standard size ng consumer/common PSU. 15k naman max budget mo so I think kayang kaya na yan kung ippush mo yung upgrade(s).

Ito yung usual brand new price ng ilan sa parts na nasa list sa pic na inattach mo.

Processor : Ryzen 5 3500 @ P7,500 (CheapidPC Price)
Motherboard : Gigabyte GA-A320M-S2H @ P2,890 (PC Hub Price)
Ram : Crucial Ballistix 3200Mhz RGB @ P4170 (PC Hub Price)

Anyways, kung okay lang sir request mo siguro na i-list down niya each and every part ng rig niya with its make/model name, para magka-idea ka magkano price ng mga ito pag new at para mas madali ka makapag-decide kung worth it ba yung asking price niya sa rig niya na 30k. Bitin kasi yung info na binigay niya, tbh. Pati pala kung anong condition niya nakuha yung mga parts or rig niya as a whole. Kung brand new ba or second hand or mix (brand new at second hand).

Common brands na nakikita ko eh Sapphire (which I prefer dahil sa aesthetics. maganda itsura at may backplate), HIS, XFX, etc. Pag brand new naman around 6.5k-7k (4gb vram variant) brand new (asrock) at 9k+ naman yung 8gb variant (depende sa brand).

depende sa budget mo ideal is cm mw2 500w + or corsair CV , seasonic siii kung kaya 650w mas maganda

nice 8 core zen 2 with b550 gen 4 na

not sure sa UPS VA ata tinitingnan dun check kanlang sa mga forum kung ilan VA sa pc
