All About Credit Cards in the Philippines

Baka kasi gamitin ng courier yung card at hindi sinauli to the bank. Salamat.

What bank daw po?

And maganda daw magbigay sila ng CL increase. 2nd month palang kase ako sa anila. And maganda talaga unli installment nila promise! Pwede mo iconvert lahat ng mga purchases mo into installment using app nila. Mabilis lang.

Ayos to ah. Using their app, may feature doon na ma-convert to installment yung straight payment ko? Baka po mataas yung interest rate? Sa BPI po kasi 0 interest sila e

Pero wala ka naman po narereceive na txt or email ng SOA or Statement of Account?

Please see below.

I started with Security Bank MC Classic in 2019 with 15k CL, then after a year tried to apply Citi approved with 45k then requested my SB for CLI, ginawang 25k then this year nag auto CLI to 60k then after a year naman ng CITI ko naging 100k na CL. I have also have CC sa BDO, CHINABANK, RBANK, PNB, RCBC, at UNIONBANK.

To all RCBC users, anyone sa inyo na overlimit? May chance pa kaya to for CL increase or maofferan ng 2nd card?

Any advice guys.. Been trying to apply for the past years already. I always got rejected. I think one of the reasons I got rejected is that I have late payments with my Car Loan before.

Does anyone know how can I resolve this? Thanks!
I've been through the same situation 5 years ago. I had a bad credit standing with BDO due to unpaid credit card balances that resulted to closure of my account. Collections department started harassing me, tawag and email sila everyday but after a few months i was able to settle my unpaid bills.

After i settled my arrears, I tried applying for a new card between different banks and credit card institutions for several months but ALL OF THEM rejected my application. That is the time i realized that my credit standing was really bad and i finally gave up on applying for a card.

I started focusing on my savings instead and had a good relationship with my bank. After that, i went to my branch of account and asked to open a credit card account, the manager attached a recommendation letter to my application and the rest was history.

I now have 2 credit cards, I have my BDO standard card that i use for my online transactions and another is a RCBC Hexagon Platinum Mastercard that I use for my day to day.

The calls/emails that used to be from collections are now coming from other banks that offers me credit cards and insurances. I'm glad that i got out of that slump and i hope you can too!

I actually prefer yung RCBC card ko over sa BDO. Wala kasing fees pag hexagon.

I believe you can request to raise yung limit di ko lang sure kung quarterly sa BDO, basta good standing ka. I started at 50k with them and i emailed them for an increase twice in 6 months ata then approved na man so far.

Anong bank po may maganda and madaming services in terms of credit cards.

Oh hexa user ka ng RCBC? Nice!

Basta keep up lang yung good credit standing and for sure kahit san ka mag apply auto-approve na!

Di ba yung hexa, dapat may 100k deposit?

Yes po, you can open a new hexa savings account on the spot basta ready na yung funds and then the credit card will arrive after a few weeks as long as you consistently follow up with them

Wala pako citi kase, mailap saken haha.
