yes. kaya ang skype. tested na namin ... minitab7 to minitab7 ... minitab7 to asus netbook and vice versa ... sa desktop pc rin ... kailangan lang hindi ka nakapwesto sa madilim na lugar [kahit anong web cam naman siguro yun ang requirement ]

skype version 2.8.0.920 ang naka-install sa tablet ko.

hi guys,

sorry ngayon lang uli nakapag-post...busy sa work.

eto run-down on how to root. (will try to post detailed instructions soon).

1. enable debug-mode in settings ng minitab 7 (make sure hindi pa naka-connect thru usb si kata sa pc)

2. download pdanet client for android and pc (to gain drivers for pc to recognize the tablet)

3. install adb (android debug bridge), embed in command prompt

C:\adb devices

if lumabas yung series of numbers it means may communication na pc at tablet

4. download unlockroot. (32 or 64 bit versions as per your PC's architecture). install syempre. and open the application.

5. click the big "ROOT" button. ^_^

6. it will show minitab 7. wait for your kata to restart

7. enjoy a rooted tablet. ^_^


note: i am using windows 8 as my main PC OS. i am not sure if xp, vista, or 7 will yield the same effects.

kung ayaw mag-install ng adb, unlockroot, or pdanet sa pc nyo, try the following:

1. make sure you are logged in as an administrator.

2. go to boot up type selection (F8 at start up) and select disable driver signature enforcement check.

i am not sure if this is allowed, but you could check this for proof of what my rooted kata minitab 7 can do:

di ko masyado ma-modify uli si minitab 7. busy sa lenovo p700.

paano ko malilipat yung files na meron ako s minitab to computer? nilagay ko n ung connector pero kapag check ako s computer alang makitang minitab.

Ok lang sundan ko na lang instructions mo. Na-root at na-open line ko SGY ko by following instructions lang dito sa Symb. Basta abangan ko ang pag-a-upgrade mo sa ICS kahit matagal. Thanks in advance... thanks din dun sa video.

Paki-tingnan mo yung instruction ng rooting sa taas. Meron doon tungkol sa pdanet, paki-sundan na lang. Skip mo lang yung rooting kung hindi ka naman mag-ru-root.

Baka mamaya ko pa rin masubukan ito... pareho tayo, di rin magkakilala pc at tab ko via usb cable... ang work-around ko, bluetooth muna pero mabagal... or usb drive/flash disk kasi medyo mabilis.

Isaksak nyo po kata thru usb sa pc. Then punta kayo device manager ng pc. Check nyo kung may yellow exclamation point. Pag meron, it means hindi nag install kata drivers.

help mga sir! d marecognized ng kata t1 ko ang smartbro huawei model E226 ko.. usb unmounted dw. hiniram ko dn globe tattoo ng officemate ko with model
E153u-2.. ayaw dn. nu kyang model ng broadband pwd d2? la kc kong wifi connection s bahay nmin kya kelangan ko gumamit ng broadband d2. tnx s mkakatulong..

Sir, when you plug the stick, is there any signal light on it? if so, detected ang stick mo. all you need is the proper configuration for the wireless BB stick.

yes sir, blinking blue signal light. s dr any trick to configure bb stick? after kong mai-plug c bb stick ko, pumunta n ko s settings>wireless & network>.. kaso wala dun ung mobile networks. Andun lng eh Flight mode at VPN. Sir, tut naman jn how 2 configure it properly. Tnx in advance.. Btw, yup taga-lipa me working in provincial government of batangas..ke gov.vi.

hope this helps, para sa lahat na to:

go to settings>wireless and networks>mobile networks>access point names

press the menu button (yung panggitnang virtual button ng kata sa right side)

select new apn

globe:

name: kahit ano
apn: http.globe.com.ph
authentication type: none
the rest leave it as it is.

same goes for sun (minternet) and smart (internet)

Marami po nagkalat na custom rom. Problem is, ang hirap ng selection process since android is a scattered OS. Mas ok if you just stick with an official gingerbread, ics, or jellybean. Root it, and rebuild the OS from ground up. Pero syempre do not mess with the kernel. Services and RO apps only.

My Kata T1 has ics 4.0.3, want to bump it to 4.0.4

sir, so far, not 1 usb dongle is working for the T1. Kung makikita mo yung reply sa taas about sa network setting hindi mo makikita dun yung mobile networks na option. Makikita mo lang is Airplane Mode and VPN. I think hardware issue ito ng T1, but tingin ko lang yun. If anyone can clarify this, thank you.

mga sir/mam na may Kata T1 dyan, pa-post naman po ng specs and/or review ng unit nyo dito para ma-compare natin ang minitab7 at T1.

sa nakikita ko ngayon, isang difference nila ay yung support for USB Dongle... ang minitab7 meron... ang T1 wala.

ty
