Hi. Turn off the device. Access the recovery menu by pressing both the power button and the volume up button.

Once you are in the recovery console, may makikita ka po dyan na restore factory settings--all personal files will be wiped out as well.

minitab7 yung sa akin, pero based dun sa previous posts, lumalabas na hindi supported ng T1 ang usb dongle.

sa settings kasi ng minitab7, ganito ang menu ng Wireless & networks settings:

- Wi-Fi
- Wi-Fi settings
- Bluetooth
- Bluetooth Settings
- Tethering & portable hotspot
- VPN settings
- Mobile networks
- Ethernet settings

under naman ng Mobile networks :

- Modem power
- Data enabled
- Data roaming
- Access Point Names
- Use only 2G Networks
- Network operators
​

Yung data enabled at network operators ang sine-set para gumana ang usb dongle. pwede rin yung access point names kung alam ang details.

Iba ang menu ng T1, flight mode at vpn lang daw ang meron. kaya di mapagana ang dongle.

,sir, not working po yung power + volume up... mga 3 times ko pong inulit pero not working po talaga... sinubukan ko po yung volme down pero di naman recovery console pumunta... parang download mode ata yun?..

guys sino po dito nakapagupgrade na ng minitab 7 nila from gingerbread to ICS?

may lumabas po ba android mascot na may yellow exclamation point? press ka uli power + volume up. lalabas dapat yung options to reset to factory settings.

I am not an expert, pero I can see 4 possible work arounds.

1. connect to a phone that can be a wifi hotspot, android dapat din para walang problema sa ad-hoc. (kaso panu nga kung walang phone)

2. flash custom ICS rom which has support for 3g dongles

3. root T1, modify in sys/bin (not that sure since wala naman akong T1) and add scripts to override device's radio to recognize sticks.

4. install busybox, and android terminal emulator (parang command prompt/sudo terminal ng linux) i-manual na lang ang commands. (kaso di ko pa nasusubukan, kasi nga wala akong T1)

guys sino po dito nakapagupgrade na ng minitab 7 nila from gingerbread to ICS?

issues to resolve prior to upgrading to ICS:

different sources say that it is better to do the upgrade in increments na lang instead of full flash. (2.3.1 to 2.3.3 to 2.3.4 onwards)

no minitab 7 specific version of ICS ROM. You would need the "bahala na kung alin" approach. mahirap maghimay ng OS kahit android/linux pa yan. promise.

Custom ROMs designed for other devices might not work properly for minitab 7.

locked ang bootloader ng minitab 7. you can verify this by installing rom manager (clockwork mod). hindi nya ma-ooverwrite yung default bootloader. (there is a way of course, adb, ubo...ubo...)

i have a custom ROM pero ayaw mag-update. signature invalid...

busy pa sa work, pero i will inform you guys once i have upgraded to ICS...malay nyo pwede rin ang jellybean. (asa na ba ako? )

Sir, I think tama c sir greyhound na ang ating t1 e d supported ng 3g dongle kya impossible na ma-install ang bb stick dongle natin. Sbi nga nya e hardware issue yn ng t1 compare s minitab 7.

Try mo gumamit ng 3g wifi router n png bb stick..available yn s cd-r king. Un lng tanging paraan na nagawa ko para mapagana bb stick s t1 ko. (Credit to ma'am alea ..sya ang nagbigay ng idea nyan s kin)

Kata T1 does not support USB BB stick. Just connect with wi-fi. It's not 3g device unlike the Kata MiniTab 7

Capacitive po pareho ang screen ng T1 at minitab7. Mas mataas ang resolution ng T1 kaysa minitab7.

Ang minitab nila ang resistive, ito po yung maliit na mini-tablet nila na may stylus, yung worth P3500 nila na tablet.

nagpunta lang me cd-r king dala ko ung bb stick ko..tas cla na nagconfigure ng 3g wifi router. Mbabait din ung mga tga-cd-r king kc tinuro dn nla s kin kung pano iconfigure jz incase n ma-reset settings ko.

Once n nconfigure n ung 3g wifi router at bb stick mo, pwd mo n syang iconnect kht wlang pc. Jz plug ur wifi router dn connect ur bb stick s usb port ng router..boom..connected n c bb stick and u can surf n using ur wifi connection.

Hope n makatulong dn 2 s mga nagtatanong jn kung pno iconnect t1 ntin s bb stick since d nga supported ng 3g bb dongle ang t1. tnx miss alea..

Tama kyo mga sir, d tlg supported ng 3g dongle kata t1 natin. Try nyo n lng gumamit ng 3g wifi router for ur bb stick pra magamit nyo s t1 unit natin. Once n naconfigure c 3g wifi router at bb stick, wifi hot spot n s bahay nyo kht walang pc as d main server.
