AMD A4, A6, A8, A10 Official Thread

Hello everybody!

I would just like to ask about overclocking a unlocked APU and enabling both Dual Graphics and Cross/Tri/Quad-fire.

Example:

A8-7670k
MSI A88X-G45 Gaming
R7 250 (x2/3)

How the hell will this work?

Also, I know somehow this defeats the primary purpose of an APU but please sate my curiosity on such a feat!

not possible because the r7 250 and 240 only supports up to 2. meaning if you crossfire it with the igp in the apu, that counts as 2 in total. adding another as a 3rd gpu wont be recognized. either run 2 dgpu or crossfire it with the igp.

OS: Windows 7 ulti 64bit
RAM: 8GB RAM (siguro Kingston)

Graphics: 1GB (ano po bang compatible na brand
Storage: (same)

P5,000 lang po budget ko pang upgrde...

PS: gagana po ba kung yung 2GB na RAM kahit hindi ko aalisin kpag nakabili na ako ng 8GB na RAM, bali 10GB RAM na ang nasa PC ko, pwede po ba yun?
nanghihinayang kasi ako dun sa 2GB...

As of memory, pwede naman, APU relies on your system RAM, meaning na kapag dinagdagan mo ng system ram, madadagdagan ang VRAM mo.

low budget nga po, pero kung reasonable nmn po ang price eh okey lang kahit mataas 5k...

address first your temp problem on your other thread then upgrade later if solved. after which, id suggest getting a dgpu and another 4gb ram. it depends on what you do with your pc. if you use it for playing, mention the games. you might want to check also your psu. mention the brand, model and wattage so I can assess better.

since your display is likely a 15.6", maybe a 1gb vram and 4gb ram will be enough for games like dota2.

Hi mga sir.

Ang ginagamit ko pong mobo ngayon is Gigabyte GA-F2A55M-DS2. AMD A4 po processor ko.

Plan ko po sana mag upgrade ng processor. Ano po kaya ok ipalit na AMD processor since dual core lang kasi tong A4 ko? Ayoko po kasi bumili nlng agad tapos baka hindi gumana sa mobo ko.

go to your mobos support page. select the correct model and revision then click on cpu support list. you may need to flash bios as well should you decide to upgrade.

mobos shouldn't affect the performance as long as its compatible. theres probably something that affected it. first culprit would probably be bios since most likely the mobo was made before the cpu came out. a55 also only has sata2 support. it may not matter if it was paired with an hdd.

pwde na po ba ako mag-upgrade ng ram at magdagdag ng Vram???
pati po yung PSU gusto ko sanang palitan...
5K palang po pala ang budget ko...

youll have to find another budget for the psu. for the gpu and ram, 5k is enough. inquire if these items are available:

r7 260x 1gb
gskill ripjaws 4gbx1 1333 cl9

no point in getting a higher speed ram if you wont ditch your old one.
