Ako di ko alam kung san ko iclassify sarili ko. Hehe. I believe that there is Someone/and or Something na mas supreme kesa sa akin. But i can't describe that Someone/and or Something. I can't even name it. The more i know about history and facts, samahan mo pa ng logic, nababawasan yung faith na meron ako.

ako din ........ catholic din ako .... right now naguguluhan ako kasi nung nagbabasa na ako may punto..... but since nakamulatan ko yung paniniwala sa Diyos prang gusto ko pa mag research kasi kagaya nga ng sinabi ni aijin nakakakumbinsi ... ang dami kasing mystery na ang hirap i-defend kahit alam mo sa sarili mo na tama ang paniniwala mo......

I was about to ask kung ano yung deist.............. my grandma was a buddhist..... prang may nabasa ako na hindi din sla naniniwala sa Diyos.... pero madami slang sinasamba na nag ba-vow sla.....

Deism = reason based faith. hindi kasi sila naniniwala sa mga miracles mga holybooks or any religious stuffs. basta naniniwala lang sila dyos as the "first cause".

ako kasi kya medyo naguguluhan kasi naniniwala ako na may Diyos pero sa mga sugo hindi, kasi even mga sugo gumagawa ng kasalanan, at hindi involve ang Diyos sa mga kasalanan na nagagawa ng tao, (my gad baka may mag react opinyon lang ha ) actually di nga ako naniniwala sa mga sinasabi ng pare, direkta ko kinakausap ang Diyos meaning sa sarili ko lang, mahirap i defend pero lahat kasi ng hinihingi ko sa kanya binibigay nya kung meron man na hindi binibigay iniisip ko na di para sakin... ganon lang (uy sori ha di ko kasi alam kung tama na dito ko sabihin hehe ) share lang po

I was born in a catholic family. My parents are cluster heads for Couples For Christ. My siblings went thru the stages of kids for christ, youth for christ and singles for christ. Before i graduated from elementary, i finished reading Ang lumang tipan and Ang bagong tipan. My parents assumed that i would be a priest. For highschool, I was enrolled in a catholic school(a boarding school tended by nuns). It was during that time that i was enlightened, after reading different books and other religions' dogma. I graduated highschool an atheist, but noone knew. My family still don't know that i don't believe in god anymore. I have nothing against it anyway. Nowadays, when someone asks me why i don't believe in god, i just answer: "I'd rather not tell you, you wouldn't understand me anyway. And we would just be engaged in a senseless debate. Unlike religion, atheism isn't taught, it is learned."

Pareho tayo, my parents are devote Christians and a cluster head in their group for couples for christs. naalala ko pa lahat ng religious activity ng simbahan namin sinasalihan ko, youth encounter, prex, youth for christ, I was even a knights of the altar for 8 years, bilang lang sa kamay ang pag pass ko ng pag attend ng mass date in a whole year. then when I start scrutinizing my beliefs and my religion, 2nd year highschool ako nun, dun na nagsimula yung atheism ko. history, bible, science, philosophy, logic yan lahat ng factor nag lead skin para maging freethinker. date hindi ko pa kayang panindigan ang atheism, so I consider myself as a Deist. pero habang tumatagal dun na rin papunta yung beliefs ko eh kaya ngayon isa na kong atheist.

Religion is nothing but a man made BS! walang naitutulong ang religion kung hindi ang hatiin ang mga tao. Im not against believers, Im against religion. pwede ka namang maging religious without religion.

naniniwala ako na may mga masamang tao. para sa amin yun ay kakulangan sa pagpili ng tamang gawain laban sa mga masasamang gawain. lack of WISDOM.

at hindi yun bunga ng hindi paniniwala sa diyos.

as a background, i came to question my faith way back in 2nd year high school. like most of you here, catholic ang family ko. since elementary nasa catholic school ako. best in religion, christian living awardee, panlaban ng school namin...but then i have lots of questions on my mind.

nga pala, i find this thread very informative. i am not here to judge nor to criticize anybody. i guess i'm just an observer. gusto ko ang palitan ng kuro kuro lalo na ng isang atheist at agnostic.
