ako wala pa time to discuss my atheism with my family since hindi ko kasama family ko ngayon. I am living on my own, but in time baka magkaruon din ng pagkakataon na maiopen ko sa kanila. I really can't imagine how they would react. knowing na deeply religious ang papa at mama ko. but I know naman maiintindihan nila kung ipapaliwanag ko ng maayos. open minded naman ang parents ko eh.

things differently, I think becoming of which make them more moral and more sensitive to the right/good things to do.

buti nalang unti unti nang namumulat ang karamihan sa mga pinoy. dumadami na rin ang mga non religious, secular at humanist group dito satin. thank god.

and few more thing that is good in atheism is that we don't need to make lies just to prove that what we believe is true. we don't make lies just to encourage other people to join ou beliefs. we don't need to make false promises just to be a good and moral person. we don't do good thing for the sake of heavenly reward, we don't do good things just because of the fear of an eternal punishment but we do good things for goodness' sake which for me is the real essence of morality. for an atheist there is no need for a magical reward or punishment to be a good person.

Yes, in a way. They still have the ability to determine and differentiate what is right (moral) from what is wrong (immoral). Please be reminded that morality doesn't need to be religious in nature. Minsan mas nahuhubog ito sa society. But some religion are just into claiming them.

Perhaps din may ibang batayan ang mga atheists. Pero the essence of morality is pretty much the same.
