Any review tips? Magtetake ng board exam this coming September. Sa ngayon, nagrereview ako sa Powerhouse Review Center. Maganda turo nila, pero feeling ko kailangan ko pa ng advice from other passers.

1.) Ano magandang libro for ESAS na basahin para sa objectives? Narinig ko sa isang friend na lagpas kalahati ata ng ESAS is objective type questions last September 2016. parang 60:40 daw nangyari. 60 objectives and 40 problems.

1. Yung violet na ESAS book ni rojas at tiong pati si capote yun binasa ko nung magtatake ako ng board ubusin mo ung objective dun, tapos may ibibigay din na materials sa review center. Technique sa objective type wag nyo masyado kabisaduhin word by word, intindihin nyo mabuti ung definition nung term kasi madalas nasa tanong na din yung sagot sa objective and syempre common sense.

2. Kapag mag rereview maglaan ka ng breaktime, ako ang naging routine ko isang pasada tapos break ng 30 mins. nung malapit na board exam 15 mins. break na lang ako. Pag inaantok ka sa review wag mo pilitin itulog mo tapos tyka ka ulit mag review. Maglaan din ng free day kung saan di ka mag aaral relax lang kumbaga sa isang linggo ilaan mo weekend as free time then pag weekdays monday to friday review lang talaga, walang tv walang cp.

3. Lastly magtiwala ka sa Diyos at sa sarili mo, minsan ka lang magboboard exam galingan mo na

Tip ko lang po na wag mag papanick and intindihin mabuti ung tanong. Minsan kasi madali nalang tanong dahil sa tense ka eh humihirap. Relax lang, pero wag naman sobrang relax. Sa Review naman kahit pa sundot sundot lang ng Dota ok lang un basta marelax utak hindi tuloy tuloy.. Nakakatoxic pag puro ka review walang rest. And magtiwala sa sarili humigngi ng tulong sa itaas.

Brow. . I just recently passed the REE and RME board. . . September 2016. Dati, nag babasa lang din aku sa comment section na tu. feeling so scared and excited of the Board Exam. but now, aku na yung nag bibigay nang comment ngayun. hehe.. sa math, as far as I can remember during our time,

there are 20 erroneous problems kaya better be good in troubleshooting the problem. tips: watch out for the equation exponents, decimal points, integer operations. lack of given variable/value etc. but don't worry the problems were just easy.

40 very easy problems, like finding the roots of equation, factoring, age problem, coin problem, work problem, algebraic equations, arithmetic progression, probability, integration, derivation, complex numbers, trigonometry, analytic geometry, Solid mensuration.

30 Objective types of questions - ex: you are asked to identify the kind/type of equations etc.

10 top notch problems - D.E. Rose Curves. Taylor Series, Vector Analysis, Analytic Geometry, Integral and Differential Calc. Laplace transforms.



Sa Esas naman

60 objective type questions. Mechanics, Kinematics, Thermo Dynamics - Isentropic, Isothropic, Isothermic, Isobaric etc. , Chemistry, Physics - Light & Optics, Magnetism, Electricity, Electronics-ALU, CU, Microprocessors, Logic gates etc. , Programming-Web 2.0, Web 3.0, Engineering Econ.

40 problem solving - Thermo, Engineering Econ, Mechanics-Strength, Rigid Bodies, Kinematics, Physics, Chemistry, Discrete Math.



Sa Major naman - EE

60 - problem solving, Power systems, Sending at receiving end voltages. Circuits 1,2,3. , Generators, Motors, Power Plant, Power Generation economics,
Short circuit analysis - Zero, positive, negative sequence., Electromagnetics, Magnetic circuits. Electrical transients.
40 - objective question - PEC, National Grid Law, Epira etc.

Just trust in our Father in Heaven. and no matter what don't panic. . . Just do your best. . . sana maka tulong. . . God bless sa exam nyu. . . at someday maging REE at RME din kayu. .. . .

sir diba ang grade required para pumasa eh 70%, eh ano naman po yung score na kelangan per subject para maka 70%??
pati totoo po ba na may quota'quoata din yan? na may bilang sila ng kelangang ipasa and kung sobra naman yung pasa eh magka cut off sila?

70% din per subject minimum para makakuha ng 70% though yun EE ang pinakamalaki ang percentage na 45% kaya dapat mataas ka dun, yun math naman medyo madali naman dapat makakuha ka din ng mataas, yun ESAS ang medyo mahirap.

may quota pero base sa previous exams nanghihila sila pataas unlike sa electronics engineering na naghihila sila pababa.

I just passed the recent board exams. Grabe feeling mag one week na lumabas resulta pero hang over pa din. XD

Salamat pala sa thread na 'to and sa thread na merong pdf ng reviewers (thanks to sir devilbat for sharing the resources). Karamihan sa review materials ko, d'un nanggaling.

Konting tips lang sa mga kukuha sa susunod:

MASTER THE BASIC
Puro basic lang lumalabas. Hindi nagrerelease ang examiner ng pang-quizzer na tanungan. Mostly direct sub. Ang mahirap lang na part especially sa Math is may mali minsan sa tanong kaya kailangan mo itroubleshoot at hanapin yung talagang given. ESAS IS THE HARDEST SUBJECT, I.M.O.

RELAX
'wag na magreview one day before ng exam. Para marefresh yung mind mo. wag mag-alala na baka wala kang maalala bigla sa exam kapag 'di ka nagreview the day before. Anong laban ng 1 day na pahinga sa halos kalahating taon mong pagrereview para sa board.

QUESTION CATEGORY PERCENTAGE
Math- 80% solving, 20% objective
ESAS- 50% solving, 50% objective
EE- 60% solving, 40% objective

NOTE: Feeling ko lang yan. Di ko siya binilang mismo.

HABITS SA EXAM
Pwede magsolve sa questionnaire, so dun ka magsolve.

Keep your answer sheet as clean as possible. Hanggat maaari, sa last hour ka na magshade. Nagtatime check naman ang examiners kung wala kang relo kaya may idea ka kung kelan ka na magsheshade. Pero it's up to you pa din.

Eat chocolates (or peanuts) before the exam. Pwede din may chicha habang nag-eexam kaya choose between chocolates or peanuts.

Ulitin sagutan ang buong exam hanggang sa kaya mo. For checking purposes. Malay mo di mo kaya ung ibang tanong sa una mong pasada pero kaya na sa pangalawa.

CALCULATOR
May ibang proctor na nag-aallow ng new FX991EX-PLUS, pero may iba na hindi. So stick pa din tayo sa conventional na FX991ES-PLUS.

kahit saan review center pwd na yan master. cebu area kasi ako kaya di ko alam ung mga review center po jan sa luzon. kaya nyo po yan, sir. goodluck

recommend ko sir ay aces, maganda daw materials nila. sabi ng mga kaklase ko. Hindi ko naman nakita talaga dahil sa bahay lang po ako nag review using old materials ng kaibigan ko. Pero naniniwala ako sa kanila sir. ACES is the best.

Pero agree din ako sa nasa itaas ko. Wala sa review center yan, nasa tao po yan. Goodluck po sa inyo. wag kalimutan mag dasal palagi

Sa Powerhouse ako nagreview... Napakaganda ng turo and materials duon. Spoon feeding type of lecture kaya if medyo alangan ka at di mo talaga marecall 'yung mga lessons mo nung college, maaalala mo talaga.. Di siya ganun kalaking review center pero growing na dahil talang napakaeffective ng ginagawa nilang pagtuturo. And if papapiliin ka, choose weekend schedule. Para sa weekdays (if wala kang trabaho), makakapagfocus ka ng review on your own. Maganda kasi pacing ng review nila sa weekends, in my experience at sa experience na din ng mga kaklase kong nagweekdays schedule.

Pero nasa tao pa din if papasa siya or hinde kahit pa nagreview center siya. Basta review-review lang engr.

Di siya ganun kalaking review center pero growing na dahil talang napakaeffective ng ginagawa nilang pagtuturo. And if papapiliin ka, choose weekend schedule. Para sa weekdays (if wala kang trabaho), makakapagfocus ka ng review on your own. Maganda kasi pacing ng review nila sa weekends, in my experience at sa experience na din ng mga kaklase kong nagweekdays schedule.

Bagong pasa ako ngayong september at ayon sa aking karanasan at pagtatanong tanong, eto ang mga bagay na unique sa ilan sa mga yun.
Multivector : Hahasain kayo sa math at esas pero mas focus sa essas. Sa mga review materials namin halos kalahati ng exam sa math at esas namin lumabas sa board specially pagdating sa mga objective type questions. Sulit ang refresher at coaching. Ang mahirap lang dito ay mabilis ang pacing ng pagtuturo pero lahat naman ng items sa reviewer ay sinasagutan. Tsaka minsan mag-eextend kayo ng oras. Sa multi lang walang calcutech tsaka medyo madumi yung lugar at amoy aso. Wag kayo dito kung malala alergies nyo sa mga hayop.
Powerline: madadalian kayo a math dala ng calcu tech. Yung mga kaklse ko ng college na doon nagreview ay bihasa sa ganun. Ang sabi lang eh may mga pagkakataong even or odd lang sinasagutan sa mga handouts nila.
Powerhouse: spoonfeeding type ang pagtuturo. Detailed na detailed at pinapasimple nila. Ang sabi ng naman pagdating sa coaching isa lang daw lumabas sa kanila, or atleadt isa lang natandaan nung nagsabi sa akin. Hahahaha
ACES: mura na daw rate dun. Yung mga review materials nila na puro objective na malaking tulong talaga lalo na sa essas ay pwede ilabas ng review center at kasama na sa bayad. Sa vector kasi ay hinde.
