wow, you seem to have a sad view on love and loving. Love is such a wonderful feeling, the greatest feeling that someone will ever feel or experience in his/her lifetime. Don't you agree?
So, if you fell inlove with someone and your love is not reciprocated then that just sucks, but that doesn't mean you stop loving her/him.
Yes, it does hurt, it will cost you all the sadness and sorrow, but you must understand this, loving is not expecting something in return, loving is giving someone the freedom to choose whether he/she would reciprocate your love or feelings. Love does not push, it does not force and most certainly does not drive you to hate that someone you used to love. Because if it does, then what you felt isn't love.
So, just love, even if it hurts, even if it gives you pain, just love, because somewhere, somehow, someone is out there willing to love you too.
