mga lodi tanong ko lang kung in demand pa rin
ang VB.net - gsto ko sana pag aralan ulit 'to.
 
according sa Google Trends for the past 12 months sa Pilipinas, 0% interest rate sa VB.Net .

may mga company pa sa ibang bansa na nag hahanap ng vb.net programmer tulad ng dubai
sa pilipinas ang alam ko meron din
pero di sya ganun kasikat
mag C# ka nlng kung ako sayo

Sa academe dito sa atin, ginagamit pa yan. May mga VB classic programmers, na yan din ginagamit nila ngayon. Lalo sa mga BASIC lovers.

Kung ang purpose mo ay trabaho, pili ka ng in demand talaga.
 
Kung mag-aaral ka ng Programming. I would suggest learning C# kesa VB.net for the following reasons:
  • Close siya sa ibang programming language like JAVA, C/C++
  • Parehong technology ang gamit sa VB.NET
  • Di ko alam sa Pilipinas pero sa ibang bansa mas malaki ang bayad sa C# developer.

Or kung gusto mo mag-aral ka ng Javascript. Yan ang malaking demand ngayon sa IT market.
 
For learning purposes, VB. Net is a good start. Based on TS' statement, he's interested on VB.

On the other hand, I'm in favor of Javascript. He will hit 2 or more birds with one stone :)
