Pero kung ikaw mag design ng 20 departments dre? Ano magiging output mo? Hingi lang ako ng idea

Ako kasi as much as possible I want to separate per network segment for some reason na once na may broadcast o magpatakbo ng huge application from single department hindi maapektuhan ang network operation's performance with other departments. That's why VLAN create it for us to avoid that kind of incident.

Kaya ba ng DHCP server ng windows yung 20 different subnets? Hindi ba siya mahihirapan kahit minimum specs lang ung server?

It depends on the value you set on DHCP Lease time. If your Lease time never expires, the workstations won't able to perform DORA again in order to acquire fresh assigned IP for a period of time. DORA stands for Discovery, Offer, Request, and Acknowledge. It's likely TCP Handshake. With that scenario, it saves your DHCP server to consume more memory resources to recur the process.

Kung sakaling meron akong 5 vlans with each subnet, at nag karoon ng broadcast storm sa vlan 1. Aabot ba hanggang vlans 2-5 ung broadcast storms or ma co-contain lang sa vlan 1?


In this scenario..

1. naka disable stp on switches

2. router on a stick config ang gamit since kailangan maka access ng ibang users sa ibang vlans

Broadcast storm will sent out request to its address x.x.x.255 then all the active IP addresses belong to that network segment will sent out replies. So in that case if they are not belong to single network segment then hindi maapektuhan yung ibang users on other network segment (other VLANs).

Good day po mga master. Aspiring ccna po ako. Tanong ko lang po sana saan po magandang mag simula kapag naka pasa na po sa certification. Any suggestion po? Sa ngayon po instructor po ako ng computer system servicing sa isang school pero for 6mos lang kaya po nag iisip isip na ako ng next na gagawin after ng 6mos. Matagal tagal ko na din po kasing pangarap maging katulad nyo. Sobrang hanga po kasi ako sa mga katulad ninyo.
