mapapansin nyo po iyan kung nag"restricted access change" ang phone nyo sa status bar, you can also verify that by going to mobile networks -> APN. kung hindi nyo maclick iyong APN ng sim, iyon iyong may problema. meaning, meron po configuration na nabago. you can just reboot your phone and see if the problem is fixed.



as long as i don't install apps more than the recorded (factory) internal mem, smooth naman po performance ng phone. i noticed that if i install a lot of apps, eventhough the phone says i still have a lot of free mem, once it exceeded the recorded internal mem magfoforce close lahat ng apps if the phone is rebooted. then i won't be able to install more apps also once it had reached that point. i have also encountered a bootlist error nong tinanggal ko ibang system apps na hindi ko kailangan, i won't be able to use the phone if that is the case. sa andread3.2+yonip, pwede ko po gawin iyon without experiencing such errors. wala rin ako masyado mapapansin na lags.

ang major issue lng na nakita ko sa andread3.2+yonip is the market download and other system apps (video) na hindi nakikita sa app list. other than that, that rom is good. try nyo po na gawin base ang andread3.2+yonip for creating andread for 2.3.6 kasi smooth din iyon, minor fixes lng kailangan don. sensya na, hindi kasi ako marunong gumawa ng custom roms, ako na sana nagmod non para sa mga ka-sb natin. hehe.

here is my comparison:

andread3.2+yonip:
system performance: 10/10 (i don't experience major lags and i can install plenty of apps without worrying about memory)
bugs: market download not working, i see a "video" app in the system files but can't see it in the app list.
plus points: unlimited installation of apps, phone still runs smoothly; has a higher download speed compared to andread2.3.6, can go above 1Mbps.

andread2.3.6:
system performance: 8/10 (i always experience a lag when i open ES file explorer and other apps , esp. apps that requires superuser permission; i experience a low internal mem even if the phone shows i have 700+MB free)
bugs: uninstalling some system files may cause bootlist error; though phone shows 700MB+ free mem, would still experience low mem error; download speed is slow, can't go above 600kbps.
plus points: market download fixed; as long as you dont install a lot of apps, phone is running smoothly; has a higher score in antutu compared to andread3.2+yonip

edit: i don't know if the download speed issue of andread2.3.6 can be fixed by running 3G Turbocharger script. haven't tried that yet.

ang "speed" or bilis/bagal ng "performance" ay hindi po measured using antutu benchmark. antutu benchmark supposedly compares your score with other existing android phones out there. giving you in details the score of your phone's peripherals.

ang entities measured by antutu are the following:

ram, cpu integer, cpu float point -> i guess this has to do with how the phone handles processes

2d & 3d graphics -> pertains to display settings, obviously

database io -> pertains to input/output speed within the system itself

sd card write/read speed -> pertains to sd card. the higher the class, the higher the score


to note, phone performance is not measured by how high your score with antutu is but how compatible these peripherals are. you can get a good sd card write/read speed but having an unstable process-handling capability, and a low i/o speed of your phone brings the system down. having an overall high score but with a very low "2d/3d' score means your phone could've been working that fast but the display cannot capture it all, etc. what i'm trying to say is, do not let antutu benchmark or any benchmarking tools fool you regarding performance. :P you should learn how to use them.

yung sa kuya ko sir openline padin kahit nag OTU na..bale diba naginstall kami andread..tapos pwede na sim ng smart/globe sa sim1 nya..tapos di namin tinanggal ung sim ng smart sa sim1 nag otu kami..ayun..openline padin yung sim1 nya

yes, pwede mo iflash thru cwm. advantage is the default cam can now be zoomed 8x, the original only has 5x.

if you followed the tut of bluerain for installing cwm recovey, i don't think magkakaproblema ka ng ganyan. i've been able to make a lot of backups. and i've been able to flash cwm many times. (if you already rooted your phone, i think you can still flash cwm using bluerain's tut.)

mga sir, tried the procedure posted by rsp27ph in other thread but dito galing: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1787312 . it works sa akin, it made my unit openline and after the OTU, still openline sya and 918D 2.3.5 pa rin.

by the way, X918N 2.3.6 from Sun ang unit ko and locked ang Sim 1 but after this procedure, openline na siya.

will try to test flash custom roms for 2.3.5 if magkaroon ng time. ano po ba magandang 2.3.5 custom roms?

wla po prompt sir. basta pag nilagay m sa cp nkaunmount dw ung sdcard. then pag sa pc mo nman tningnan lalabas ung driver pero pag ioopen mo nkahang na sya dun kahit minitool pa ang gmitin pang view. ayun ipapasoli sa cdrking ang iniicp ko pano pag npalitan n ung sdcard and ipartition ko ulit baka ganun ulit mangyari. pero i think ung sdcard ang my problem kase ngloloko xa. minsan kase nbbsa ng cp before tpos mwwla na. ngtry kc ako mgpartition ng harddisc ok namn ung nga lang parehas fat32 ang format, nung sa sdcard na ext2 eh my ngpopout na windows cannot view dw pero inignore q ang inaaply q na. after nun di n mabasa ung sdcard

sir i think magkaiba tayo ng problema sa sd card,
ung sakin kasi nakalimutan ko mag set as primary and Fat32 nung nag delete ako ng partitions. tpos dun na di gumana haha
then I tried OTU, bumalik naman sa dati..

1. Download the ROM you want
2. Copy the ROM to your sd card (.zip file, don't extract)
3. Shut down phone, Boot to recovery (Volume up+ power button)
4. Backup everything
5. Wipe everything
6. Choose and install zip from sd card (ROM)
7. Reboot, wait for 3minutes or more?
8. Clap your hands

Andread ROM needs sd partition,ksi malaki kakaining phone memory para mapalaki ang phone memory? haha. saka pra iwas bootloop
