i'm looking forward to have these games in ps vita... any new series for: Monster Hunter Freedom, God of War, Metal Gear Solid, Castlevania, Devil May Cry, Final Fantasy, Resident Evil and Tekken.

sigurado po yan madaming games na lalabas. sa haba ng listahan ng game developers na nilabas nung E3. tapos pag maganda ang benta ng games siguradong mas dadami pa sila kaya ok lang sakin na wlang ps2 compatibility hehe. pwede na nga ps1 and psp games eh. oks na ko dun. may bonus pa yung cross compatibility daw sa ps3 yung pwede ka makipag laro gamit yung psvita mo sa ps3 .. tapos may android capabilities pa to(nakita ko sa FAQs) heheh.. talagang possibilites are endless.. ang kelangan nga lang eh endless din ang budget mo wahaha.. (yung sakin hindi ).. para madami kang games

Correct ka dyan dude. Kung ang PSP dati PSOne or PSX ang tinarget malamang ps2 naman para sa Vita target ng mga underground devs. Sana lang mapabilis after the release. And sana din upon purchase marami na agad games unlike sa PSP Go dati na may voucher voucher pa para madownload free yung game. Buti na lang din walang region limitations yung mga games for Vita according to Sony. Kung sakali yari ako pag bili ko sa Japan kung may voucher na naman.

kahit sana mga ps2 games remake, parang kagaya ng P3P sa PSP, kahit after 3 or 5 years pa to ma hack, para sobrang dami ng lumabas na titles, not unlike ng psp. dami kasing possiblities ng type ng gameplay nya, since touch screen, with touch pa ung back nya, tapos may built in camera, wifi at 3g pa, kaso ung price talaga ng single game ang iniisip kohahah

common price niyan malamang is around 1700 pesos yan, (much lower than umd releases which is 2100 pesos)

yes, if you will buy it again in the PSN store (hindi pwede iso downloaded dito since hindi gagana piracy sa vita, at hindi din pwede UMD sa vita since gagamit lang siya ng cartridge base)

Dev confirms PS Vita RAM cut claims

Sony’s alleged reduction to PS Vita’s RAM capacity won’t harm developers working with the system, a Sony studio partner has said.

Dani Sánchez-Crespo, the CEO of PSP games studio Novarama, told Develop that the upcoming PS Vita handheld will “have a whole lot of headroom in terms of GPU power, CPU power and indeed RAM”.

But he appeared to confirm that Sony has lowered the RAM capacity of the device since its initial spec sheet was sent to developers.

Asked if the alleged RAM cut will affect Novarama’s own projects, Sánchez-Crespo said: “no that won’t affect us. It’s actually good for developers to work under constraint. Generally for Vita, we still have a whole lot of headroom in terms of GPU power, CPU power and indeed RAM”.

Samsung to manufacture PS Vita CPU

According to Andriasang’s translation of a Semiconductor Industry News report, Samsung will supply the PS Vita’s CPU.

The site also reiterates earlier reports that the chip will be produced using a 45 nanometer process, as are those used in the slim models of both the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

The two electronics companies have a strong working relationship, with a joint LCD manufacturing facility in Korea among other collaborations.

Sony is yet to set a release date for the new handheld, although it’s expected to reach Japan before the end of the year, with international launch to follow.

Update:

Update:Develop now reports that one of its Sony Japan sources insists that no cuts have been made to the system's RAM. Of course, whether or not changes have been made to the specification is less relevant when we don't know how much memory there was to begin with. What we want is a number, and Sánchez-Crespo's comparison of Vita to the original PSP has been the best hint thus far, outside of official confirmation.
