[FIXED] Lenovo A5000 software upgrade disabled by Globe
Yeah we all hate custom ROM from Globe or Smart.
Nothing useful or innovative added, just a bunch of useless apps.

Also Android Lollipop upgrade is only applied to units bought from retail market; operators customized or contract models are not covered.

To revert your A5000 to Lenovo's default visit this page:

You can also update your phone to LOLLIPOP; however, there are reviews that OTA update of lollipop has lot of bugs.

Flash stock ROM A5000_S030_150713_ROW [Kitkat]

How Tow Setup/Install Recovery
Installation via Flash Tool (The flash tool is in the archive)
1. Open Flash Tool;
2. On the Download tab, click to select Scatter-loading button find the Scatter file in the folder;
3. Wait until checked cheksummy;
4. Check that would stand Download only and was checked in the drop-down menu.
5. Turn off the phone (without connecting to a computer);
6. Click the Download button (with a green arrow);
7. Connect your phone to a computer;
8. Wait until you see a check mark;
9. Disconnect the phone from the computer;

Viola!! you can update your rom to lollipop.
However, there were some issues in lollipop, like battery drain so fast etc.

Now I am using Cynogenmod rom ^^

Hi .I'd like to flash my lenovo A5000 because its only blue screen appeared in display when you charge it and also wasn't recognized the usb port even though i installed the usb driver for lenovo A5000.I already have Sp flash tools and firmware How do i flash my Lenovo A5000 ?would you help me in my problem? I will appreciate your warm response thanks...

Flash into what sir? nag fflash lang kung gusto mo gumamit ng custom rom or babalik ka ng stock firmware.

ginawa ko ito,
ang resulta,
ayaw na mabuhay ng lenovo a5000
totally ayaw, wala kahit logo, wala ilaw, wala lahat, wala ding detection sa pc kahit pa install mo drivers,
in short PATAY na cia,
haist, masyado akong naexcite,
sana may fix o repair method sa gantong results.
