Basic troubleshooting po ito para mabuhay ulit ang phone nio


Bootloops

ito ay common na nangyayri pag me mali kang ginawa sa pag iinstall ng custom rom,kernel,update etc...

Usually ang solution dito ay wipe data or wipe clear cache

paano ba ito sosolusyunan??

1. Pasok kang recovery mode

patayin ang cellphone
hawakang ang home + voume up + power button ng sabay sabay

paglumabas ang samsung logo bitawan at i hold ulit..

dapat pulang menu ang makikita mo na merong 4 options

update from sdcard
wipe data
wipe cache partitiom
reboot system

use volume up and down keys para i select ang gustong gawin
home button ang enter or confirm

pillin ang wipe data muna tapos wipe cache tapos reboot system..

Pag nag BoBootloop ka pa din heto ang susunod na madaling gawin:


Subukan mo mag install ng custom rom usually ito ung pansalba ko bago ako tumakbo sa pchan at mag flash gamit ang odin..

una kailangn mong ilagay ung cust rom sa sdcard mo..dun lang wala sa lob ng kahit anung folder

Ito gamit ko,feel free para gumamit ng ibang custom ROM,
Pero I would suggest na ito dahil ito ang pinakamalapit sa stock rom,at papalitan nito lahat ng naging posibleng error ng phone mo,at subok ko na din kasi,fried and toasted ika nga

Ok, add ko na din po ito, since eto na ang Official Troubleshooting Guide for Galaxy Young S5360 device.

CWM BACKUP

What is CWM?

An acronym for ClockWork Mod, a real time machine for your device. This baby is your last option before flashing ROM through Odin.

If you are going to install a Custom ROM, or some delicate tweaks that can harm your device, or just a mere backup in case of trouble, this tool is your safety gear. It reverts back to where you previously backuped your current ROM, all of it from Apps, Contacts, Accounts and Sync, Messages, desktop customizations, Widgets and etc. of course that EXcludes your SD Card contents.

It's actually easy to backup, just few simple steps and requirements of course.

Requirements
- Your device (Galaxy Y S5360)
- Internet connection (WiFi or Mobile Network) either in your PC or mobile
- CWM Recovery Zip file (Download Here)
- SD Card storage up to 500mb and above
- USB Cable or Micro SD Card Reader (if you used your Desktop/Laptop to download CWM Zip file)
- Knows how to "copy-paste-move"

Instructions and Procedure

1.) After downloading "CWMRecovery.zip", move or copy this zip file onto your root of SD Card (/sdcard/CWMRecovery.zip)

NOTE: Do NOT extract CWMRecovery.zip. SD Root is located where DCIM and Android folders are placed.

2.) After moving/pastingCWMRecovery.zip file, shutdown/turn off your device.

3.) When fully shut down or off, go to recovery mode by pressing and holding the buttons (volume up key+home key+lock key)

NOTE: Controls for recovery mode since touchwiz is disabled.
Volume keys : Up and Down selection
Home key : Enter/Select
Soft Back key : Back key

4.) At the recovery menu, select "apply update from sdcard" then choose "CWMRecovery.zip"

5.) You will be patched through CWM Recovery Menu, select "Backup and Restore" then choose "Backup". After choosing Backup, it will automatically backup your current ROM status.

6.) After backup, just choose "Reboot" to continue. DONE.

Information and Tips

- To restore your backup, just follow again the steps from 1-4, on step 5 just select "Restore" instead of Backup.
- Your backup is located on your SD Card at Clockwork Mod folder inside Backup folder. (/sdcard/clockworkmod/backup/YOURBACKUPHERE
- You can rename the folder any name you want to, you can even compress it into a RAR or ZIP file, just make sure to compress it into Normal compression and uncompress when you want to restore your data. Do NOT edit any files inside your backup folder, keep that intact.
- Test the backup if it is working, how? Just add a random contact or install an app or add a new message then Restore and see if your additions are gone then the backup is working!

mag wipe ng data/
next cache partition
then install update
piliin ung terma rom file
(parehas sa cwm

hayang mag install...

pagtapos na reboot system..
ngaun itong rom na ito ay walang boot animation..
mag antay ng 10 minuto...
mag antay ka lang wag atat...

yan dapat ngaun buhay na phone mo,,,,

kung hindi pa din nabuhay /SIZE]

kumuha ka na ng 20 pesos at tumakbo sa suking pchan
or hiramin ang pc ng kapibahay or buksan ang pc mo

Procedure

install Samsung drivers
Open Odin
ung zip file me tatlong file yan csc pda at phone..
or 2 basta bukasn mo ngaun parang puzzle lang yan...
sa pda field ilagay ang pda file auto iwan iyan...meaning ipapakita lang niya sayo ung file na pwede...ok..

browse the 3 tar files to odin PDA=PDA_xxxx.tar, PHONE=MODEM_ or PHONE_xxxxx.tar, CSC=CSC_xxxxx.tar

punta tayo sa download mode...

home+volume down+power naman..
me prompt!basahin mo!
volume up sasabihin nian!



tapos ikabit ang usb sa pc at phone..

ngaun antayin mo mag yellow ung id com duloong kaliwang box...
pag nag yellow na pindutin mo ung start

kumuha ng 2 stick ng yois magsindi at magdasal na hindi mag brownout at huwag hatakin ng makulit mong katabi ung kordon ng pc mo...

mag rereboot yang phone medyo matagal yan,,,
pag nag on na ok na buhay na phone mo!

kung stuck ka sa samsung logo pa din

remove battery
- resinsert battery, wait 30 sec
- press Vol Up, Home, Power at the same time
- when Galaxy Y logo appears, release the Power button
- when Recovery menu appears, release the Home button first, then finally Vol Up
- select wipe data/factory reset (Vol UP/Down + Home)
- select reboot system now

kung ginamit mo ung files ko nakapg upgrade ka na sa latest firmware,at nabuhay mo ulit ung phone mo ng walang kahirap hirap,..

kung hindi mo nasundan ung instructions ko na napakadali,,,

dunno if this helps pero someone requested so posting it aswell

if you for somehow brick of went to a bootloop,make sure yuo follow this steps step by step,
make known that all requirements are met,

HOW TO INSTALL :

Instructions :

1 : Put the Ext4.zip on Your SD-Card. (SKIP IT : NOT RECOMMENDED FOR NOW)
2 : Extract The Content of Sustem.zip to the Root of your SD-Card (DRIVE_LETTER:/system). LINK ADDED BELOW.
3 : Flash the Kernel Via Odin (YOU CAN DO WHAT YOU WANT THERE IS MANY OTHER METHODS).
4 : Boot into CWM Recovery.
5 : Install Ext4.zip.(SKIP IT : NOT RECOMMENDED FOR NOW)
6 : Wipe DATA & CACHE (NOT NEDDED BUT PREFERABLE).
7 : Don't Worry @ The First Boot, You Need To Reboot TWICE.
8 : Check the Stability & Speed.
9 : ENJOOOOOOY.

FOR THE 1.0.8 VERSION AND ABOVE:

You will see a new folder on the rot of the SD Card Called (scripts)

this folder is for the scripts you want add them into init.d folder.
all you need is put the scripts you want into it and reboot twice.

Step by Step
1. Download the latest Kernel From Maroc which is a .tar file
2. Extract the boot.img and put it to the root of SDcard
3. Download CWM and put it to the root of SDcard
4. Turn off phone and boot into CWM
(Note: To boot into CWM press Vol Up, Home, and Power at the same time and in the stock recovery choose update from zip and select the CWM.zip)
5. Once in the CWM recovery, simply choose install from zip and select KernelUpdate.zip
(Note : Kernel Update.zip looks for a boot.img file in SD card and flashes it)
6. After successful kernel up press power to return to CWM
7. Press Reboot now, and your kernel is updated
(Note : You can also do this process with Stock Kernels if you encounter problems, download stock kernels and do steps 2-7)


INSTRUCTIONS :
Short PDA Flashing Guide
- download the .tar file
- install Kies, or Samsung driver pack
- download Odin3 1.84 or 1.85 (download links above)
- stop Kies
- stop all active ADB sessions
- start odin
- power off Your SGY
- boot into download mode
- Press Vol Down, Home, and Power at the same time
- When (about 5 sec) Warning screen appears, release Volume Down and Power, then (a bit later) Home
- press Vol Up (You'll get Odin mode screen)
- in the PDA field, browse for the kernel tar
- leave all other fields and checkboxes default!
- connect your phone, You must see yellow 0:[COMxx] in the first ID:COM and "Added" in the message box
- Start flashing by the START button.
- flashing will start immediately, see the progress in the message box, and progress bar on the phone
- Wait 1-3 minutes, until green PASS! in the upper left
- SGY will reboot, leave it as is for 2-5 minutes until startup finishes.

mag try ka ng iba memory card...baka po sira na ung mem card mo or na corrupt try po to reformat..

kung me mini tool ka try mo un gmaitin kung me partitions...

Ung 1st post and 2nd post mejo magulo, lagyan mo ng headers and etc.. Basta hindi ung parang nilagay or "copy-paste" lang.. Lagyan mo ng mejo may formality and easy to read and search.
Lagyan mo din ng rules for posting, references ng fixes and download materials.

And ung tagalog mo, mejo malalim sa makabagong mundong ating ginagalawan, fix this also, kahit ako nalalabuan ng konti..

mag download ka sa play store ng Super Backup: SMS & Contacts, free po un..

pero kung wala ka backup, bye bye na un.. pano ka nga naman magrerestore kung ala ka backup?
