Give me enough reason why macbook is a good buy?

iMac user here... though windows gamit ko ngayon, gaming mode kasi

Yung iMac 21.5 inch namin nabili sa 62K. Sa price nya pwede na kami makabili ng High-End na Windows Desktop. Here is my reason's why we go for iMac.

1. Performance
2. Stylish, Professional tingnan
3. A modern looking laptop/all-in-one PC.
4. It's not generic and/or common type of Computer.
5. It's brand name... Apple

Macbook is unique high-end design. and even though they will update with designs parang hindi naluluma ung mac mo kasi pareho lang ang design. nag uupgrade lang sa specs. Macbook Pro mid 2012 user here.

nauumay na ako sa windows na mga laptop, para maiba na rin. maganda kasi ung interface.. having a mac is also like having a PC, kasi anytime you can run windows OS. tapos kahit tumanda yung mac mo, maganda parin.. then gusto ko rin sa mac ey yung tatak ng logo ng apple sa likod..

if naka Mac ka halos lahat but not all pero halos lahat eh ggastusan mo pagdating sa programs or apps. Hindi kagaya sa Windows eh halos lahat may pirata.

Stability agree. Kasi each part ng Mac eh optimized ang drivers hindi kagaya sa PC bili ka ng new parts download ka ng drivers kung walang CD kasama. Good luck kung kung may conflict or wala. While sa Mac lahat eh walang conflict magkakatugma bawat parts.

Specs....Mas maraming mas powerful sa PC at half the price kaysa Macs.

Pricing..mas mahal syempre ang Mac kea nga ginagawang status symbol na yan kapag may ganyan ka click ka daw o bigtime ka daw. Pero ang totoong binbayaran mo eh 3 lang:
Apple brand
OS
Proprietary Driver.

Pero ako work purposes lang habol ko sa Mac and for testing purposes.

hmm sales talk by Apple motto nila yan about their OS..most advanced as they claimed. Self-claimed but not claimed by international IT community walang fact o evidence na magpapatunay na most advanced sila than any other OS. Enthusiast at fanatics will claim the same pero words words no hard evidence to compare.

HD movies? Maling basehan yun bro sa pagiging most advanced OS. Basta may Dual Core mabilis na magprocess ng HD movies realtime watching kahit 1080p pa yan. Saka isa pa all operating system sa ngayon can play HD movies in an optimized way. Bakit naman sa winXP nga nanonood ako ng 1080p eh gamit VLC tapos pentium 4 na laptop wala nman lag or sluggish madali nga lang uminit yung p4 laptop ko.

Bigyan kita maliit na trivia. If they are so advanced OS bakit ang PS1 =Linux. PS2=Linux. Wii=Linux. PSP=Linux. PS3=Linux. PC=may Linux at may Windows. Android Tablet/phone/gadget =Linux(Android is a modified Linux). Cignal TV Satellite Box =Linux. Bakit hindi iOS nasa o sa PSP o NDS o 3DS?

Bakit ang laki pa rin ng market share ng Windows series dito in terms of computer?

Kahit Microsoft at iba't ibang Linux OS kasama na Android hindi nila niclaim na most advanced OS sila. For Apple plge nman sales pitch or sales talk sila. Bakit sumsalungat mga statistical data? Hindi porke sinabi ng isang sikat na kumpanya eh totoo na. parte ng marketing strategy yan to optimize sales.

Anyway yan PROs and CONs ng Mac unbiased opinion ko lang yan. MAC/PC user din ako ilang taon na alam ko kung saan malakas at saan mahina ang 2 at lahat ginagamit ko sa trabaho kaya pantay sila at parehas sila gusto ko sa kaniya kaniyang nilang paraan.

naka try na din ako ng mac.. gamit yung hackintosh na netbook ko dati... simple gamitin pwedeng sabihin na magaan yung os kasi intel atom lang ang netbook pero naka snow leopard... pero sa gaming.. apps medyo tagilid...

Buy a Mac if you really have the money, otherwise DON'T. All you can do on a Mac, you can also on a REASONABLY priced PC. IMHO, Apple products is just for show.

Hell! If you're really up to it, you can even install OSX on a similarly spec'ed PC. Have a look at this forum http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/

I have made one, but I rarely use it.
