but before doing all the flashing, i performed a wipe data factory reset first via recovery
and BOOM

I tried this but didn't work on my SGV. My phone is from SUN and i would like to use Globe in it.
after flashing both sim slot still is locked and "google play stopped working" repeatedly pops up. so i decided to reset my phone.
i'll try flashing it again and as you've said with an older firmware.
so i have to ask What Firmware should i download/use?

• Country Carrier: Philippines(Sun Cellular) Because the phone is from sun? or

• Country Carrier: Philippines(Globe) for it's what i wanna use?

tried and tested

kung walang nangyayari flash ninyo yung pinaka first firmware na pang open line.

mga ginawa ko:

• wipe data factory reset sa recovery.
• wag e set ung phone.
• patayin.
• go to download mode.
• tsaka e flash.

sakin open line ko ung phone gamit ang flash method.
root ko phone gamit CWM. (i hate v root method may mga apps na kasama ung chinese na v root)

its up to you kung maniwala kayo.
ma ilang beses na rin ako nka soft brick ng samsung device. kung hindi sigurado. hindi ka mag kakamali kng nag babasa ka. nandyan naman si google. flash lang flash ng tamang firmware.

TS, gumana naman TUT mo as of NOVEMBER 8, 2015 3:51 PM. GLOBE LOCK yung nabili ko na Samsung Galaxy V. Bago ko i-flash, ginawa ko instruction ni Boss hamaraputa gumana hehe maraming maraming salamat po TS!
