may mga antivirus app na may mga built in functionality, gaya ng anti theft, anti spam, sim watch atsaka remote controls;

sa anti theft, kahit siguro nakawin ang cp mo, pag naka-enable ang sim watch hindi nila maa-unlock ang phone mo unless hahanapin ka ng password;
kasama na rin dito ang remote controls na kung saan makikita mo ang last known location ng phone or real time location neto.

siguro sa ngayon hindi pa natin maappreciate ang importance ng security ng device;

ulit, salamat sa thread; marami pa ang maliliwanagan dito

maganda yong discussion ni bossing...pero since occupied na ng android ang planet earth...pretty much sure marami na ring apps or programs na sabihin nating unsafe sa unit natin..well try lang natin if meron siginificant na changes if you will use antivi ..

nota bene: baguhan lang ako sa android...,symbian user ako ...pero sa platform ng symbian meron ako safe manager na astig ang features..sayang at di ko mahanap sa android...

pampadagdag lang yan ng RAM consumption and CPU usage its a bloatware for me since im using Android DEVICE diko inatempt gumamit nito also a battery hog.

Ako din, kahit di ako nagkaroon ng in-depth analysis re: android anti-virus, I believe na useles ito (as of now) and kumakain lang ito ng resources... Kaya tuwing may nag papa root sa akin, or nagpapating ng phone nila, i tell them na useless ang antivirus and ina-uninstall ko agad!

maraming salamat sa post na to, bro. nagkaproblema nako minsan sa anti-virus ko kasi malaki ang kinakain niyang memory space. napadali kahit papano nung nabasa ko 'tong post.
