I sat there alone, with no one to share,
the reality of life that seems so hard to bear.
Minding my own life, no one really cares,
Until someone came along, and made me her's.
She picked up all the pieces of my broken life,
She made me believe that life's not about hatred and strife,
What i thought was the happiest day of it all,
But like the Tower of Babel, I was destined to fall.
She made me towering, sturdy and tall,
But the reality of life i forgot to recall,
that all of this would just vanish without a trace,
And in an instance i'm broken again, back to the old days.
And then came along another one,
She picked up all the scattered pieces, but some pieces are gone,
With all what was left, she built me like new,
The realities of life, i thought i already knew.
And then again, i was left battered and scarred,
By this time, i was so broken that rebuilding is hard,
Oh God Eros, how could you let me be,
Built and be torned again, please answer thee.
Here i am now, lacking but still fixable,
Broken, yet unbowed, still standing tall,
And after life has taken it's toll.
Will i ever learn, after all?
the reality of life that seems so hard to bear.
Minding my own life, no one really cares,
Until someone came along, and made me her's.
She picked up all the pieces of my broken life,
