1. Fist install the Lenovo s820 usb driver in your PC by connecting the phone using usb cable.
Enable the usb debugging mode.Let it process and finish the installation.

Important: make sure na na install properly ang usb driver ng phone nyo to avoid unneccessary issues in rooting your phone.

Alternartive method: installing the Lenovo usb driver manually.
in your phone open the file browser application and browse to your internal storage, look for Lenovo tool folder,
open it and copy the file named "LenovoUsbDriver_1.0.2.exe" into your desktop.
Install it and wait untill it says driver installed.

caution: used the application usbdeview.exe to check if there are other ADB interfaces usb driver na nainstall sa pc nyo before like samsung, htc, tablets,
samsung kies etc which can give conflict sa pag root the device nyo.Just uninstall those usb drivers related to android interface before
kayo mag root ng phone nyo.


2.Now, download the file "MT6577 USB VCOM drivers.rar" and unzip it sa desktop nyo,open the folder and look for the file
MT65xx USB VCOM driver
InstallDriver.exe(for 32 bit),install it untill it says driver installed succesfully.

reboot your PC.

3. Next is to check the driver of your device if it is properly installed before proceeding sa pag ro root.

In windows 7, click start then point to computer, right click and choose Manage, a window will appear showing the computer
management, sa left side click the Device Manager,then look the name Lenovo S820 ADB interface.
kapag nakita nyo yan. then you can start rooting your device.


ROOTING

4. DOWNLOAD THE FILE MTKDroid_tools.rar, unzip it sa desktop nyo then run the mtkdroidtools.exe, extract it sa desktop ulit
MTKDroid_tools.rar

after extracting, open the folder and you wills these files:


double click or run the file MTKdroidtools.exe
Note: (before nyo e open and MTKdroidtools.exe, make sure na your phone is switched on at connected sa PC nyo.)

as the software runs, makikita nyo sa ang Phone information ng device nyo,now look for the button Block Maps, click it then a new window will appear, look for
the button create scatter file.click it and save the file sa desktop nyo.then click return.
(the scatter file is needed if you want to flash cutom rom sa device nyo) for now just set it aside.


now sa baba ng dialogue box(or window ng mtkdroidtools, makikita nyo ang buttons na Root/ADB terminal/ at Reboot.

We need to click the root button and wait for the to finished installing the Super Su app sa phone nyo, kapag nakita nyo na succesfull. it time to click
the reboot button.

Mag re reboot ang phone nyo and your phone is rooted. double check if Super Su app is installed in your phone.

use the Root checker application(available sa play store for free)para malaman mo na rooted ang phone mo.


Done.

meron na ba nakainstall ng MIUI sa phone na to? Listed kasi sya as an official device sa MIUI site Gusto ko sana pero wala ako clue pano lagyan to ng CWM

mga boss kaya ang framaroot sa s820, tapos kung nakapag software update mawaala ang framaroot, pero pde irun uli at maroroot gamit ang framaroot wit super su
