The domain/hosting and web framework to use is the very least of it.

And the actual project cost naman can range from a few thousands to millions. Hertz.com for example, they paid $32 Million and it's not even a fresh new project - it was a redesign - a revamp. And masakit nun, they already have paid 32 million USD, but the project still ended up incomplete :)

Hosting sa hostinger starts less than P100 per month
Domain around 500+ per year

Sa wordpress builder naman, may free version yung Elementor which is enough for most cases.

Meron din naman mga free hosting kaso di mapagkakatiwalaan yung uptime tsaka security and stability, based on my experience.

If you're really intent on building a website and maintaining it, in the hopes of earning from it in the future, then kelangan talaga gumastos.

Depende din sa purpose ng website mo, if it's just a simple website that doesn't require 99.9% uptime, then you can try to host and serve it sa bahay mo. Kung meron ka, you can repurpose an old computer and turn it into a web server. Also, you need to have at least 5Mbps of upload speed and at least 20Mbps of download speed to serve simple web pages. One perfect example of this is my file-sharing server/website called #gnUNIX at gnunix.co. It serves it's purpose very well on a budget through an old computer under my desk.

Pero kung ang website mo naman would be for business or an eCommerce, then dun gagastos ka na talaga. Sobrang daming kailangan iconsider tulad ng large web traffic, bandwidth, monitoring, uptime, security, etc. Pwede din naman yan sa bahay but it would be more cost-effective kung ihost and serve mo na lang yung website mo through a reliable web hosting service provider.

PS: If you visit gnunix.co and the pages doesn't show up - that means the server is simply Offline. Cheers everyone! :)

Free yan. may kasama ng SSL so mas ok. Dyan mo idedeploy mga static web pages mo. Kelangan mo lang iset-up yung domain name mo. pero kung tipid talaga, may free domain ka magagamit dyan kaso as a subdomain ng firebase.

Backend:
1.Punta ka sa heroku. Dito mo ideploy yung backend mo (Laravel or any.) API/database. may free database account dyan for postgresql.

Domain:
1. BIli ka ng domain sa freenom. 500 pesos for 1 year.

Pero for this to work, dapat marunong gumwa ng backend mo and marunong kang iconsume yung API/backend sa javascript.

If you need more info tanong lang.
Mas maganda kung i-specify nyo kung ano ba yung use case nyo.
anong klaseng website ba yan?
For educational purpose ba or for business?
Ano lang ang budget for this? 0-to what? or totally free?

marami kasing option. kung mag google search lang at wala kayong knowledge about it, iisipin mo na mahal.
Pero uso n kasi now yung serverless website. Ggmit ka lang ng mga Saas like firebase and your good to go.
Depende sa needs/requirements ng website, you can have a website ng walang gastos, provided its not for business.

Wow ngayon ko lang nlaman to. I used to work for hertz/dollar/thrifty car rentals as a helpdesk support.

Well totoo yan. Yung mga US based clients nmin sa i sang common website (wordpress) pinakamababa na yung $500.

Sana may maishare kang maikling tutorial or link maybe sa tutorial.

Hindi po pwede ang wordpress sa firebase. Firebase hostiing is static site hosting like Netlify/.

Actually anything. Yun pong term na cloud hosting, meron silang running containers (docker) na pwede gamitin as server, database, anything, even your own VPN or email service.

Ang trend po now is javascript servers (Node Express), Vue and react, Laravel.

For some reasons na kelangan talaga na wordpress ang short sa budget, you can use Heroku. You may check this tutorial but mind the caveat.
