How to install:
1. Download YONIP ROM V.3, get it here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/yfca5tuf10wbo95/YONIP_MP_A858_ROM_v.3.zip
2. Reboot to recovery (CWM)
3. Wipe data/factory reset
4. Apply update from sdcard
5. Reboot... enjoy

*OPTIONAL*
How to apply data2ext (increase internal storage). You need to have 2nd partition on your sdcard (formatted as ext2) Note: 512mb-1gb recommended
1. Using Root Explorer or any file explorer, Copy 01data2ext.sh from the root of your sdcard to SCRIPTZ folder of sdcard
2. Reboot
3. Check your Internal Storage

Dont forget to backup your DATA before installing this ROM.

BE CAREFULL... Do this at your own RISK...

Sir bakit po hindi nagchachange yung internal memory ko sa settings? nkaset po sa 1gb yung 2nd partition pero d pa rin sya nagbabago. sinunod ko po mabuti yung instructions nyo. help pls djwayne.

Sino po ba nakakaalam kung paano palakihin yung internal storage gamit yun data2ext ba yun? pahelp nmn po. customized na yung rom ko gamit yung NOYPI ni sir djwayne pero hindi ko po mapalaki yung internal storage ko. help help somebody! xD

mgging 700mb pa yung internal storage sa settings? o prang link lng gamit yung link2sd app? at pano po mapapalaki yung internal. kasi nakalagay dun sa instruction ni sir djwayne "copy yun 01data2ext.sh na nasa sd card to sdcard/scriptz." tama ba? copy hindi cut? tapos reboot? gamit ko nga pala file manager mismo. wala bang ienable something sa root? tnx po.

I solved mine by getting a new SD card. I am currently using SanDisk 8Gig Class 4. Yung dating gamit ko is Kingston na 8G Class 4 din pero Made in Taiwan. Akala ko sa ROM yung issue pero sa R/W speed pala ng card.

Wala po. ok na yung saken. thanks po sa mga nagpalawak ng aking kaalaman. halos mawalan na ako ng gana sa myphone ko buti na lng nasolved rin sa wakas. 660MB po yung internal storage ko.

na root ko po a858 ko using sir DJwayne's tut . and it worked . pero po ung custom rom my prob . andami ko po na experiences na error related sa mga apps from google play. anyway thnx po ka-Symb !

ive tried sir banjo's rom ok po kc yung mga features lalo na sa data2ext kaso nakaexperience po ako ng bugs regarding sa launcher.. kasi minsan sobrang tagal magboot ng mga apps it takes 5 seconds for the apps to boot.. just to make things clear im using a 4gb micro sd kingston class 4 kaya i know na enough yung read/write speed ng nemory cars ko.. kaso ganun pa din po kahit yung mga original apps like email , gmail.. so i went back to stock rom muna at gumamit na lang muna ako ng link2sd.. sana po mafix na ni banjo ito.. been using his rom since YONIP in alcatel 918..

Since the phone has to be rooted, can anybody who has successfully rooted the a858 please post the instructions he/she followed plus the download links? I need CDC Serial specifically but instructions are fine lang. Thanks in advance!

sir hindi nyo na po kailangan ng CDC Serial.. search nyo na lang po dito sa page yung post ni sir DJwayne regarding sa pagroot.. just follow the instructions na lang po..
