sino po ang nagamit dito ng NAS sa computer shop nila as storage ng mga game?

ayaw ko kasing mag diskless, e narinig ko lang ang NAS! okay po ba pang gaming yun? para lang po sana 1time patch lang 15 clients lang po naman ang magaaccess?

hindi po ba nag lalag! if naka cat5e lang

Sa pagkakaintindi ko, di yata pwede yung gusto mo kasi ang diskless setup merong specific requirements. Kailangan mo pa ring i-setup ang server hardware ng CCBoot.

Siguro papasok lang ang NAS as a backup device. Yung tipong dun mo ilalagay ang mga documents ng clients tuwing magsasara ka na. O baka pwede yung game disk ang nakalagay sa NAS, tapos ang NAS ay naka-mapped dun sa CCBoot server as a drive.

Wala ka rin ata choice sa network bandwidth. Either 1 GbE o kaya 2 x 1 GbE teaming. Mahal pa kasi ang 10 GbE hardware ngayon at karamihan ng motherboards ay 1 Gbps lang ang supported.

Gumagamit ako ng NAS, pero for personal use. Yung pinaglumaan kong Core2Quad na PC, nag-install ako ng NAS OS (Open Media Vault). Tapos bumili ako ng maraming hard disks at na-configure ko para maging isang malaking storage pool. Dun ko nilalagay mga movies, shows. Napapanood ko naman sa TV, tablet, laptop o desktop using Plex.
