HOW TO PLAY BACKUP GAMES?

external HDD for your wii games + softmodded wii + SD card (optional if you dont want to install cfg forwarder/channel)

Kindly post all wii guides, tips and tricks etc. Everyone is encouraged to contribute.

Soft mod: there is no harm in softmodding as long as you do it right plus you can still play your orig wii disc

Things you need to consider before softmod:
-Wii region - JAPAN (NTSC-J), US (NTSC-U), EUROPE (PAL)
-Wii firmware version - 4.1 and below, 4.2, 4.3 (they differ in installing Hackmii for homebrewchannel)
Things you need to have:
-PC
-SD/SDHC card
-ext HDD
-wifi connection (optional but internet is required for needed resources)
PC application you will need:
-dot net framework - as most developed apps requires this
-wbfs_file.exe or GUI programs like wii game manager or wii backup manager - convert/manage ISO/wbfs files
-NUS downloader - needed for hacking especially if you dont have wifi connection for your wii
-wii cover downloader - download covers if you dont have available wifi
-guiformat - FAT32 formatter

Softmod your wii in 4 easy steps
1. Install homebrew channel (HBC) http://gwht.wikidot.com/homebrew-channel
2. Install IOS236 http://gwht.wikidot.com/ios236
3. Install d2x http://gwht.wikidot.com/d2x
4. Install backup loader (configurable usb loader, usb loader gx, wiiflow) http://gwht.wikidot.com/usb-loader

These filename layouts are supported in cfg:

USB:\wbfs\Title [GAMEID].wbfs
USB:\wbfs\Title [GAMEID]\GAMEID.wbfs

you can run homebrew apps. games, also if you have wad manager(homebrew), you can play virtual console games and wii ware games.

wala namang harm sa pag soft mod ng wii, advantage pa nga kaya wag kang matakot.

you can still play your original Wii disc. pag kinopya mo yung wii disc mo (it will automatically convert wii games to .wbfs format and copy it to your HDD), mapepreserve mo pa yung bala mo, kase ndi mo lagi gagamitin sa paglalaro. yung mga bala ko wala pang gasgas

meron, bumili ka ng specified wii disc writer tpos iburn mo yung wii games na dinownload mo, disc run pa rin ang pagalaro mo bale.
hopefully mabasa ng wii mo kase hindi ako sure dito

Sa mga next gen consoles ang xbox 360 at wii pa lang ang pwedeng i pirata.
arjay yung jasper ay yung pinaka latest na gpu at cpu ng xbox360 na power efficient which means hindi sya madaling uminit na nagco cause ng Red Ring of Death (RROD). Parehas lang ang wii at x360 para i mod, its either softmod or hardmod. Pero mas masakit sa ulo intindihin yung pag softmod sa xbox 360 para sa'kin

Actually sabi ng iba pwede ka nmn daw magburn sa blank blue ray cd eh.. Kaso the blnk blue ray itself is expensive kaya di din wise na gawin mo un.. Pwede pla softmod ang wii cool.. Bibili dn ako nito.. Mas mahal dsi kesa sa wii eh.. Un un huli kong kita.. Hahah.. Paturo arjay pag nkabili na ko magkano ba wii ngaun? At san maganda bumili??
