hi. i need help. i am a noobie and not so techie. i just get by, reading tech blogs to learn new stuff.

we have a wii console from saudi. 4.2Korean converted to US. i dont know if it's soft mod then but it came with wii sports cd which i assume is orig and it can play pirated wii cds as well. the mii, photo, news channels though didn't work and displayed only black screen with warning channel can't be used. so after searching online, i found some suggestions and followed it. it involved installing homebrew, bootmii and bannerbomb. through homebrew, i was able to access the files that needed to be deleted to make the channels finally work.

then today, an orig super galaxy disc was bought. when we tried to load it, it asks for an update. i canceled it coz i'm afraid the mod might be deleted or far worse the console might brick.

how do i resolve this and make the orig cd useable without removing the mod?

hope someone can help me. thanks!!!

post ka lang dito in detail kung may problema/errors, or may hindi ka maintindihan sa steps.

4.2 below and any region hindi mo na kelangan gumamit ng exploit to install hombrew channel. sa 4.3 kase disabled ang bannerbomb kaya need mo ng exploit game from your own region (e.g. PAL needs yugioh 5d wheelie breaker PAL or Super Smash bros brawl PAL)

pwede kang magREGION changed after mo maginstall ng homebrew channel.

sa wii mo iinstal yung hbc. depende ang paginstall sa firmware vesion. 4.1 and below differs from 4.2

kuya na install ko na po ung hbc .08 po ung version. may mga bubbles na tumataas. ano po next kong gagawin pano ko mapapalitan into english? wala po ung region change, dko makita puro bubbles lang.

Pafs, may naDL akong .wbfs file, formatted na yung USB stick fo ng FAT32. Copied the game mismo sa USB. Kaso di makita sa wii ko yung game. Ano pa kulang ko?

aun nakapag install ko narin ung cfg usb loader. may ask po ako kasi kapag boot from cd ang ginawa ko gumagana sya kaso humihinto tapos when i copy to wbfs format may error na lumalabas.

dahil po ba sa console ko kasi japanese console po ako then i tried to play a games a us.,

pano po ba gagawin ko??

may gagawin pa po ba sa cfg usb loader or sa mismong wii ako dapat may gawin??

binurn mo ba sya sa file or as image?

lately lang na-enable ang DVD launch feature ang cfg usb loader. Mas mabilis loading sa HDD kaya magHDD ka nlng instead of DVD.

i see, ganito gawin mo, since cfg usb loader narin gamit mo, idump mo na sya agad sa external drive by pressing "+" button. problem solved.

sa region change naman, alam ko beneficial naman un kung magagawa mo ng ayos.

sa bootmii naman, kung nakuha mo na ung nand dump mo, magagamit mo un to unbrick your wii especially kung ung bootmii mo can be installed as boot2
