Pwede naman kaso baka di umubra sa bagal... Wifi ota na lang.. Sure pa basta stable ang conexion.. Or install mo Zune Software sa pc laptop to manual update!

Personalize the Lock screen on Nokia Lumia 520

Over the summer the Nokia Lumia 520, along with all Nokia Lumia smartphones running Windows Phone 8, will be getting the Nokia Amber Update that adds the new clock to the screen when in idle mode.

In the meantime, there are plenty of ways you can personalise and tweak the Lock screen on your Nokia Lumia 520 so it works the way you want it to. One of the great things about Window Phone 8 is how versatile it is, allowing you to get live updates directly onto your lock screen (so you don’t have to go rooting about like on rival platforms).
Nokia Lumia 520: Background
Is the name for ‘Change Wallpaper’ with the big difference being that rather than just opting for a photo from your Pictures collection you can now pull in images from a range of sources. This means you can choose to have the Bing image of the day show up on your Nokia Lumia 520, so you’ve always got something fresh to view when you fire up your phone.
Nokia Lumia 520: Playing Music
As with the previous Windows Phone 7 you can choose to link your Lock screen with your music player, so that you’ll see images of the artist you’re listening to at the time. Nokia Music is constantly adding images to the artist profiles, so you’re bound to find fresh images constantly popping up on your Nokia Lumia 520 Lock screen.
Nokia Lumia 520: Notifications
This is a feature for the Lock screen that allows you to choose an app and show detailed status information on the lock screen. By default you’ll find that Calendar is chosen, but you can switch this over to pretty much anything, from Messaging or Hotmail to your favourite email client and even Facebook.
Nokia Lumia 520: Quick Status updates
Windows Phone 7 was pretty much rigid on the choice of live updates it would throw up on the Lock screen. However, in Windows Phone 8 you can define what you want to see by choosing up to five apps for quick status updates. These are primarily aimed at messaging and social media apps, things that update often but you can also add game updates, which is something of an odd one for the everyday user.
Nokia Lumia 520: Screen time-out
When it comes to the lock screen you can do more than simply personalise the look and feel. You can also set the screen time-out – this is the length of time the phone stays open after you stop using it before the screen lock activates. The minimum is 30 seconds but you can also choose from 1-, 3 and even 5 minutes. There is no right or wrong time limit for this and is purely a personal choice.

Finally, if you want to add protection to your Nokia Lumia 520 and hide away all your information away from prying eyes then why not add a password? To set this up simple swipe the button to the on position. You’ll then be asked to set up a password code and your away. Now, whenever you, or someone else, opens you’re Lock screen the password will be needed to progress.
