Nokia Lumia 1320 user po ako. Di ko po maintindihan yung tutorial sa first page. Yun bang pag-set ng region at language sa US ay magtr-trigger nang availability ng update from WP 8.0 to WP 8.1? or para sa Cortana capability lang? Pakilinaw po. Thanks.

Ung una, para madownload mo ung WP8.1, warning lang this will void your warranty...

Ung pangalawa, pagkatapos mo mag-update sa 8.1 at gusto mo matry si Cortana dahil outside ka ng US..
Beta pa lang si Cortana kaya sa US pa lang..

This will void my warranty? Ganun? Naku bago pa lang tong phone, bakit hindi ako nawarningan. Almost done na yung pag-install ko. Hehe.

Try mo mag Check for update ulit.. Baka Black lang ung nainstall mo..
8.0 : Press Start + Power button
8.1 : Press Power + Volume Up

This is a great update. Kung nag ka problema kayo sa double tap to wake at audio after updating (naging problem ko din) kasi nawawala yung options sa setting (using Lumia 625) try nyo install SysApp Pusher then install nyo lang yung update for nokia. Ayus ulit!

This is how you get Cortana on Windows Phone 8.1 outside the United States
Step 1. Make sure you have changed the region to United States and your default language to English (United States).

Step 2. Go to language settings, select United States. Change the Regional format to “match phone language”.

Step 3. Go to keyboard settings, (add and) move up the English (United States) option. By now, you should have initiated some downloads. If Cortana still isn’t there, try rebooting the phone.

Step 4. If Cortana is still not visible in the Menu, go to settings -> Speech, and double check if the preferred language is English (United States).

Step 5. If for some reason you are still out of luck, sign into your Microsoft account, go to the personal information, and change any region-based information to United States.
You will now have Cortana. enjoy!

Pang Windows Phone 8.0 lang po ito.. Not Windows Phone 7.x, AFAIK..

Hindi ko lang sure. Pero try mo mag check ng phone update and kung makakapaginstall ka ng Prev for Developers
