Yung mga suggestions o solutions na binanggit ko tungkol sa piracy, ginamit mo laban sa akin para sabihing nagmamalinis ako? Classic straw man. Ako na nga ang nagbibigay ng solusyon, ako pa ang hypocrite. Kunsabagay, di mo talaga maintindihan kung wala kang pakialam.

Bragging ba yung sinabi ko na makakabili ako ng 6 games worth 50 pesos, pero sa PSN hindi? Pinaghahambing ko ang mga deals sa iba't-ibang platforms at yun ang ipinakita kong halimbawa. Ang sinabi ko pa nga, give them an offer they can hardly refuse. Nasaan ang pagmamayabang sa paghahanap ng better deals?

Napasubo ka lang kasi di mo nahanap yung sinabi mong "halos libre na lang yan sa PSN tuwing Sale". Yun ang pagmamayabang na hangin ang kinalabasan.


Diskusyon ang ginagawa natin. Hindi kailangan ng kung anumang aksyon. Alam mo naman na nasa Internet forum tayo.

Ang punto ko, may kikitain pa rin ang publisher sa mga piratang di katulad mo. Ang rebuttal mo: i-suggest sa PSN support. Bakit mo ipapasa sa iba ang argumento ko para sa iyo? Wala ka nang maisip na counter argument?

I never said it didn't exist though. I as a developer knows that there are no security features in the world that are 100% secure and hack/crack free. Even FBI servers can be hacked if you are that good and all have the resources and manpower to do it. Point is, piracy exist BUT securities will only get better as time goes by and there will be a time when it's too hard for crackers to bust in the securities of games and piracy will be next to impossible within the life cycle of the console. Hello, Sega Dreamcast, the security of this console is too good crackers only got into it lately lang. If Sony and Microsoft can adapt to this security.

You can't compare microsoft and sony as a corporation, they're too different. Sony is primarily a company that makes electronic devices, and playstation is just one part of it. And they have too many giant competitors like Samsung, LG, Sharp, Panasonic etc. while Microsoft is mainly a software company and it's only big competitor is Apple. Ofcourse their stocks remains stable. How many PCs are there in the world? Again, pirated copies of OSes are only rampant in countries where there are no laws protecting the rights of software devs or countries where there are existing laws BUT fails to fully implement it due to incompetence like the Philippines. Even if XBOX is shelved by Microsoft for some reason, the company will still thrive. Microsoft didn't do anything to adapt to piracy, it's the strict implementation of laws that keeps this company alive. Obviously di kasali Pinas. Walang kwenta ang gobyerno eh. The risk of getting caught is simply not there that's why piracy is so rampant here. Unless the government strictly implement a law protecting IP rights of software devs, piracy will exist here in PH.

Bumibili din ako ng day 1 releases and gold/digital deluxe editions. In fact last year: ME Andromedia Deluxe, D3 Rise of Necro, Uncharted Lost Legacy, Shadow of War Gold, AC Origins Gold, Rocksmith 2014 DLCs, Steam Sales, Humble Bundles, PS Plus subs.

So ginagastusan ko rin naman ang hobby ko, pero may budget ako bawat taon. Kaya practical lang. Kung di pasok sa budget, hanapin sa warez. Outside of games, halo-halong pr0n, films, tv, anime, retro cartoons, music, webcam girl caps, emulators, software.

I know I will never be able to buy all these terabytes of games and media in my collection. That's why I can never be on the side of the likes of you. Different strokes for different folks.

Uu nga, brings back memories. Naalala ko kalagitnaan ng game ko sa Ni No Kuni sa PS3 biglang na-brick na yung ps3 ko. Nag-ulit tuloy ako sa umpisa ulet nung nakabili ng bagong ps3 haha. Ang saklap lang. Magkano kaya Ni No Kuni standard ed lang hahaha. Dami ko gusto bilhin na games. Yakuza 6, Ni No Kuni 2 at yung lalabas na GoW. Butas bulsa na naman to hahaha... pero ayos lang para sa ekonomiya.

Karamihan ng games walang built-in support for KB/mouse, kaya almost always gagamitan mo ng adapter.

Di ako mahilig sa FPS, pero XIM4 ang ginagamit ko for action games like Uncharted and GTA. May pre-configured keys tsaka mouse config na ang isang XIM4-supported game, kaya halos plug-n-play lang din siya.
