Phoenix OS x86 version can operate on Intel x86 devices. It can be installed either on a USB key or the hard disk (keeping the original file system untouched).

Recommended computer configuration: recent Intel x86 computers from within the last 5 years and memory being larger than 2G.

How to install

Download the Phoenix OS (x86) installation program. Run the installation program in Windows selecting USB or hard disk install.

Precautions

It is recommended to use Intel Atom CPU devices for best compatibility.
When installing to a USB key use a high-performance one with more than 4G capacity. Lower-speed USB key will slow down the system.
While the installation to the hard disk will not touch the existing data, it is always best to make a full backup beforehand.

What is the difference between Remix OS and Phoenix OS?

According to Phoenix Studio forum (translation) and other sources:

both are based on Android 5.1 Lollipop,
both support Legacy BIOS and UEFI boot methods, but sometimes Phoenix OS Legacy mode does not boot, unlike UEFI,
Remix OS lacks adjustable windows and some of them can only be maximized or minimized,
Remix OS requires USB 3.0, Phoenix OS only USB 2.0,
Phoenix OS boots faster,
Phoenix OS fluency and functionality are better than the Remix OS,
Phoenix OS 1.0 is 370MB, Remix OS 2.0 is 689 MB, both zipped.

Feedbacks na na-experience ko using USB 2.0:

1. May ibang game apps nag-crash sa system ko (crash to reboot) lalo na sa CoC.
2. Kailangan naka-tablet mode ka kung gusto mo magpalit ng wallpaper (parang sa remixOS din ata). Otherwise see #1.
3. Not bad yung chromium based browser nila mas responsive. Yun nga lang may problema ako sa youtube.

Overall hindi na rin masama antay na lang ako sa improvements (android-x86, Phoenix at yung isa). Kaso nakakatamad baklasin yung R7 260X ko para makita ko ang full compatibility ng intel HD gpu niya na parang ginawa ko sa RemixOS.

Wag mag-alala hindi pa fully tested yung PhoenixOS sa feedbacks ko lalo't naka-live USB ako o may problema sa compatibility ng AMD video cards ko. Pag may time babaklasin ko yung video card ko para ma-check ulit.

bakit exe yung file? akala ko ISO.. hindi ba to OS?

Pde po ba to sa 32bit uefi. Baka same lng po kasi sila ng remix na ung support for uefi eih sa 64bit po..

May sariling installer siya na puwedeng i-install agad sa partitioned harddrive mo o sa pendrive.

Puwede mo naman gamitin ang 64bit variant nila, basta supported ang processor mo ang 64-bit instructions (any athlon's prior made from 2006 and above, core i3's, latest pentium and celeron, and above.) Kung hindi ka sigurado check mo muna yung processor mo sa site para malaman mo kung 64-bit supported ang processor na gamit mo ngayon.

May 32-bit version din ang remixOS kung medyo duda ka sa phoenixOS.
