Salamat sir. Binabasa ko ngayon

Do the bootcamp but don't expect to be hired. Do it for the networking and to meet new friends in the IT industry.

When studying just don't follow the tutorial. Always ask yourself and evaluate if you really understand it. ALWAYS ASK WHY? Then google for answers or join discord servers or ask someone in stackoverflow, reddit, ect.

Your first milestone should be to make a fully working CRUD Application. Any random concept will do. Then when you are done, review it and try adding minor/major improvements and refactor your code making sure it is readable when other people will read your code.

Upload it to GitHub or Bitbucket and link your github/bitbucket in your resume. Then start applying for a job.

Decent companies don't care about diploma. What they value the most are people who are resourceful and can actually code.

Study and Learn the Concepts not the syntax.

https://ftuforum.com/ <- free udemy courses, may kalakihan nga lang files.

bootcamp is good TS lalo na yung may program na kasama which is ihohook ka nila sa companies.

Wow.
Anyways goodluck. :)

Yes po, I know the risks na din. Hopefully, makuha ko yung dream job ko. Di na kasi ako masaya sa work ko sa barko and 1st option ko talaga ang programming since elementary pa ako nahook up na ako sa computer subjects namen.. Haha!

1st - Pinpoint what you want to be on the IT field (di ko ata nabasa sa post mo)
- ano ba gusto mong gawin, websites? mobile applications? industrial automations? networks/firewall datacenters, etc..

2nd - The bootcamp thing is better but not a sure ticket to be hired, so wag ka umasa, you still need to learn on your own (masarap to na masakit :beat:).
- whatever you want, there are now tutorials, naka video pa, sipagan mo lang at wag mag babad sa mga Documentations nila, hindi mo need lahat ng nakasulat jan.

3rd - Always challenge yourself, if you are comfortable on what ever you are doing on that IT project, always step it up a notch higher para ma challenge ka at matuto.

Be an INNOVATOR.
- If your current mind set it to be hired as an IT professional, programmer etc.. Then do not stick there forever, you can always upgrade yourself on this very competitive world of IT. or be your own Boss, narining mo naman ata mga startup companies diba.

ps : Im a self taught full stack engineer coming from vb6 to .net to web development domain with unix/win/android platforms.

goodluck bro

I'll take that in mind sir.
