guys hindi ako nagflaflame dito na maganda ang NDS.. PSP fanatic na po ako at kahit kailan hindi naging nintendo DS so don't argue with me na bili na lang ako NDS dahil gusto ko PSP..
Ang tinatanong ko dito ay kung buy or not to buy ba PSP 3000..
Ito kasi choices ko:
1. Buy the latest PSP(3000) na maganda ang LCD, very good colors though may visible scanlines. 10.5k ang price
2. Buy the old version PSP(2000) na talagang subok na pero syempre may psp 3000 na dyan na may mas magandang color though may problems.. di ko alam price. magkano ba?
3. Wait na lang for PSP 4000 kung sakaling meron nga. Yun nga lang nakakainip at walang official announcement bout sa features ng PSP 4000, pwedeng wala din masyadong update sa 3000..

PSP 3000 cant be hacked again!!! why?
a while ago the GEN team was able to hack the PSP brite/3000 with OFW 5.02 duo a save exploit..
...so they could:
*launch hombrew (kernel mode or user mode)
*launch game in CSO/ISO format etc etc...
but in the new OFW 5.03 there is a fix installed by SONY againts this save exploit which makes it again impossible to hack the psp brite/3000 with OFW 5.03 or higher
There is no way to hack the psp 3000 when it has OFW 5.03..
so if you want CWF then dont update to OFW 5.03
if you dont want CFW feel free to update to OFW 5.03
but remember onces on 5.03 then for now:
"THERE IS NO WAY TO HACK THE PSP"

basta na hack or na exploit sa hacking ang mga unang lumang mobo models, it has a high possible to be hack at. remember, marami na silang ni release na updates, pero di nila ma patch ang hack dahil same specs parin sa hacking ang mobo which ang solution nalang eh new mobo which is TA-88v3, pero dahil na exploit na yung mga unang batch ng TA-88v3 (5.02 below), kahit iupdate nila yan sa market, as long as na exploit na yung mga nauna, tyak dun sila gagawa ng pandora tool para maipatch ang mga latest ver (5.03 or higher) like what they did before dahil same specs or mobo parin naman yan.

Yup tama yan.. Pero ganito muna siguro gawin mo.. Since 4.01 ka na i-upgrade mo muna siya sa 5.00 m33-1.. After nun pwede ka na iupgrade sa m33-4.. Or better yet dun ka na sa m33-6 (latest)..

kasi sa pagkakaalam ko, mas mahal ang slim kaysa sa psp 3000 sa pilipinas (disregard psp units in malls like toy kingdom,etc), although may mga nag-ooffer talaga na mga murang slim, hanap ka lang sa google... i think the reason behind this is that, 2000 is more in demand due to piracy of games, at dahil hindi gumagana ang iso games sa 3000, unti lang bumibili nito --> resulting to a cheaper price...
however, i believe that once the psp 3000 is hacked (i have no idea how long will it take, or will it ever be hacked), magmamahal ang presyo nun...
depende rin sayo kung anu preference mo... kasi kung sakin lang, hindi nagmamatter sakin ang brighter lcd or microphone, basta makapaglaro lang, kaya slim binili ko...
pero if you really want a psp 3000 due to its new features, you need to have a lot of money for UMD games, at dahil hindi mabenta mga UMD games dito, may mabibili ka namang mga mura na 2nd hand for as low as P300, at yung mga magagandang titles naman ay mahirap na ring makahanap like tekken...

Tanggal na ang choice ko na bumili ng psp 3000.. 1week ko pinagaralan ang psp 2000 at 3000 pati mga videos sa youtube pinanood ko at ang PANGET NG INTERLACING ng 3000! Stuck na ang mga bumili ng 3000 sa mga scanlines, no fix talaga! Sabi ng sony "feature" daw ito?! Wuahaha! Pwes ang panget ng feature na yun!

Pinili ko ang slim kasi wala akong trip sa features ng brite.
- Hindi ako mahilig sa bright LCD, pag sa slim dimmest gamit ko. Tipid pa battery.
- Mas maliit ang size. Meaning lahat lumiit, including screen size.
- Interlacing ng brite mas malala sa ghosting ng slim. Hindi naman halata ang ghosting madalas.
- Mas mahal ang brite, wala pang package and bundle unlike sa slim.
- Kakaunti pa accessories ng brite ang slim sobrang dami ng choices.
- Libre lang games ng slim (unless nagbabayad ka ng 50 per game sa shops).
- Hindi ako gumagamit ng Skype (virus carrier dati to sa PC ko) kaya walang silbi ang mic. Hindi ko rin naman magagamit yun sa pagkanta.
