[Q] Undervolting CPU

Pa advice naman po kung ituloy ko ba o wag na lang. plan ko mag undervolt reason ko para ma pababa yung cpu temp naka default lang speed ng ram ddr4 3200 ko. nox emulator lang naka run at saka browsing. nanood ako sa youtube tutorial pero alangan pa rin ako gamitin. salamat po
ito po specs ng pc.
cpu : ryzen 5 3600
mb : MSI B450M
ram : 16gb ddr4 kingstom 3200 rgb
psu : corsair tx550w gold semi modular
gpu : gtx 1030 2gb (2nd hand)

Wow! 60 degrees C in just 7% utilization! What will happen if you get 50% and above utilization?
Stock cooler ba gamit mo TS? Pwede mo subukan iundervolt in 0.01 decrement then run a test everytime just for good measure, but I don't think that will solve the problem. Also, kailangan mo rin sya iunderclock kapag ginawa mo yan.

Just keep in mind TS, with regards to CPUs, doing an "under" is much riskier than doing an "over." Goodluck

bakit 1.4v ung core voltage? akin 3.8ghz 1.27v lng R7 2700
try mo manual voltage, 1.3v sa 3.5ghz then from there either akyat mo core multiplayer or baba mo voltage kng good ka na sa 3.5ghz,

suspetsa ko hindi accurate yun temp dyan at mas maganda doon ka sa bios magcheck ng cpu temp.... pero assuming na 60 degrees ang cpu temp ay dapat mataas sa 1153 rpm yun ikot ng cpu fan mo kaya ang solution mo dyan disable mo yun smart fan features sa bios or sa mismong software ng motherboard or palit ka ng cpu fan cooler

Mataas po kasi talaga ung stock voltage ng R5 3600, Im using the same Processor..

I suggest overclocking nalang like to 4.2ghz then undervolt to 1.1125v, yan setup ko ngaun and getting 38c at idle, 45c gaming.
kasi kung gagawin mo undervolt lang mejo affected performance though ramdam lang sya sa benchmark or rendering, if normal usage di ramdam yan..
If wla ka plan galawin ung speed, undervolt to 1v lowest kaya sakin ng stable sya.
