As I get ready for my day,
I also plan out how to say,
A hello, a goodbye,
Or maybe an excuse to lie,
That it’s you, that makes me fly.

If I tell you earlier,
That this feeling is getting heavier,
A voice, a touch,
Or may go distant,
That it’s you, a pain in my heart.

Sadly, only I will know,
Hoping that I’ll never be broken,
A notion, a glimpse,
Or a vague assumption,
That it’s you, a love unspoken.
