sir may question lang po ako..napapalitan po ba ung color po sa cp(ung green or red na laging makikita sa cp) kasi po pag nagpapalit po ako ng theme kagaya ng HTC style un po ung hindi nababago...un po sana gusto ko maresolve..kapanget kasi tignan para sakin ung color GREEN or RED pag HTC theme ung gamit..

Ok, if this didn't work, place again the configuration onto default.. Meron kaso sa S5230 gumagana, not so sure if gagana sa Star Wifi users, but I think this won't brick your phone since pre-configuration lang ang i-momodify..

Fifth is change Black Theme Color! (Although optional to pero I suggest this to make your theme more lively!)


1.) Extract TkFileExplorer_2.2.rar into a seperate folder.

2.) Connect USB Cable to your phone and select PC STUDIO, be sure na hindi lalabas ung SAMSUNG NPS na ininstall niyo, pag lumabas, close niyo lang pati sa taskbar (located at the bottom-right of your screen ng pc.)

3.) Open TkFileExplorer_2.2.exe, click Setting tab, and select COM. Dun sa PORT, if walang nakalagay, just select the Down key and select any port na nakalagay, un ung port ng Phone niyo. Then click OK. If walang port na nakalabas then just restart your PC.

4.) click File tab, and select Connect. Makikita niyo ung Phone System nio sa bottom ng Tk File Explorer.

5.) On the Local Disk (C: ) locate niyo ung nv_original.ini which is located kung saan niyo in-extract ung TkFileExplorer.rar. On the Phone (P: ) click System FS then Settings then Pre Configuration then Baltic then NV, now drag niyo ung nv_original.ini sa NV folder ng phone.

6.) Close your Tk File Explorer, and remove the USB to your phone. Dial on your phone *#5239870*#, on the Admin Setting, select Pre-Configuration and dial *#27236*# then select BALTIC, your phone will restart automatically. DONE!

Try mo kung makaka access ka sa Settings Menu by dialing *#5239870*# (Euro Region Code yan at meron din Asian Region Code pero try mo kung gumagana itong Euro RC), kung gumana yan, then sundin mo lang instructions dun sa thread ko..

And thanks nga pala for reminding me AGAIN! meron pala ganoon mods sa Star, nakalimutan ko i-patest sa inyo! Hehehe!

EDIT : This trick of pre-config is just one of my advance configurations para sa theme, since I posted it on my TS Notes na for a meanwhile muna ito habang on-going pa ang updates, anyway thanks again exeryon for reminding me about this one!

Yup! As long as yung Res folder ay valid for Samsung Star Phones (wifi or non-wifi). Pero di recommended yan ng mga modders ng themes, kailangan may patch update din sila..

Ok lang yan ate, pwedeng pwede mo gawin yung proceedures dito sa thread na ito, wala yan sa hardware and sa firmware version mo, as long as naka-unlock yung phone or openline, wala pong problem sa pagflaflash! Just follow the instructions very well and if you are unsure on what you will do, you could ask questions here before reflashing to clear things up!

I have read kc s iba na ginawa nila ay hndi para sa unit nila at nabrick ung phone nila. I dont know if there is difference sa S5230 at S5233.

S5230 and S5233 are the same, same modules, same hardware, same software, pinagkaiba lang ay kapag bagong bili yung phone, magkaiba sila na ginagamit na firmware plus S5233 comes with a stylus. Yun lang ang pinagkaiba sa pagkakaalam ko, and tested na yang firmware na nakalagay sa thread pwedeng pwede sa S5230 WIFI and S5233 WIFI.

More advance configurations AFTER installing the theme.

HTC HERO Final Theme Configuration


Changing Fonts

• First pick a font you like, one font family only!
  (Warning: I tried different fonts from my Windows Vista but still the "Enter" character is shown as "[?]", pero lahat naman is working!)
• Then Copy your font to any folder and paste 2 copies of it.
• Rename the font family of your choice to Cool50_Dial.ttf and CoolM_EUCJK.ttf
  
  ex.
  New Times Roman.ttf >>(rename) Cool50_Dial.ttf
  New Times Roman.ttf(2) >> (rename) CoolM_EUCJK.ttf​
• Connect the USB Cable to your phone and select Media Player
• Go to Phone --> res --> Font and paste there the 2 fonts you renamed. Overwrite the two files.
• (If not working or not pasting, restart your phone and go to default Samsung Theme by holding back key on the boot screen and repeat the process.)
  
• Go to Card --> res --> Font and paste there the 2 fonts you renamed. Overwrite the two files.

• After pasting your new fonts, restart your phone. Make sure na naka enable yung FONT sa Patch Menu.

Changing Idle Desktop Wallpaper

• Create a 1680 x 400 px (pixels) wallpaper
• Paste 7 (SEVEN) PCS. 240 x 400 px (pixels) desired wallpaer on your 1680x400.
  
  *equation 240 x 7 = 1680!​
• Save as imagen.jpg (must be a jpg!)
• Go to Phone --> res and paste there the imagen.jpg and overwrite.
• Go to Card --> res and paste there the imagen.jpg and overwrite.

Changing Menu Wallpaper
Create a 480 x 400 px (pixels) desired wallpaper.
Save as 1.jpg
Go to Phone --> res --> Wallpapers and paste there the 1.jpg and overwrite.
Go to Card --> res --> Wallpapers and paste there the 1.jpg and overwrite.

Customization of Menu Icons

• Go to Phone --> res --> and copy HTCHeroConfig.xml to any folders in your pc.
• Rename the file from HTCHeroConfig.xml to HTCHeroConfig.txt (TEXT DOCUMENT)
• Open the HTCHeroConfig.txt and you will see a js script language.
• To translate the theme in your own language you just need to translate the words for
  icons that are in english.
