SmartBRO Sim Modem Settings 090213

That is not an actual screenshot of my Dashboard, I just borrowed it from a page I found, but my DB pretty much looks like it. I cannot take an actual screenshot right now since I am running Linux. But I am pretty sure I see the "PC" on when I use SmartBRO and SmartBUDDY sims when I am in Windows. But with the SmartBRO sim I can't connect.

All I get is this message:

A connection to the remote computer could not be established, so the port used for this connection was closed.

Pra d kna mahirapan pa Uninstall nyo nlng po tapos restart tps install u ulit. ayan balik nayan sa dati.

paano po kaya ang setting sa polka.... wala na bang solution para doon polka dot sim naman maron kasi akong tatlo ayaw mag-connect ...pe help

try this. load up your smartbro sim 2pesos.
then send sms . type "YES" send to 211 w/out the quotation. and after you received a reply , just send a new sms again and type "OFF" send to 211 w/out the quotation. final step is you must uplug and plug in the device and reboot you pc. let me know if it will connect. goodluck

Important terms:

> What is PPP?

The Point-to-Point protocol is a method used when communicating data between computers

via dial-up modem connections.

> Default DNS of smartbro sim = 121.1.3.172 , 121.1.3.89
> Default DNS of smartbuddy prepaid = 121.1.3.74 , 121.1.3.89

SETTINGS A/PROCEDURES:

1.a How to know if your sim is 3g blocked. In your usb modem windows, find diagnostics tab.
Below picture is 3g activated, if you see not registered not attatched it means 3g blocked

2.a Now if your smartbro sim cant connect to your dashboard/usbmodem window. Then follow procedures below

3.a Create new network profile. Then follow below SS settings. In general tab click dialling rules. You can use area code of laguna 4029 wherever you are or you can use other area code.

4.a Follow this also.

5.a If you are using chap then uncheck only "Unencrypted password (PAP).

then if you are using PAP, check only PAP.

6.a then save

> If still unable modem connect. Proceed to next profile setting 2.


SETTINGS 2/PROCEDURES.

1.b Follow procedure/settings A, 2.a - 5.a

2.b Follow below SS.

3.b then save

4. b restart pc.

> If not just click connect at most 10 times. Kukunek yan. pramis.

RESULTS:

> My smartbro sim for more than 2 years. no blocking.
> There are no unblocking tricks of smartbro sim. As long as there is atleast 2 peso your

3g is active.
> Download speed better than the default settings.
> Easy establishing connection to HSS.

Idol TS! working po ito, 2 weeks ko po ginagamit to... Im using HSS and configs nyo po gamit ko, japan, uk, australia, and 2 us.. tapos po kahapon, biglang nag red po ung ilaw ng MF627 ko, then trny ko mag open ng dash board, limited service po nakalagay,... minsan nag eeror 628 po sya,.. bat po kaya ganun?? pano po kaya gagawin ko... help me TS please... thanks!!
