My friend from Canada gave me a Sony Xperia ion (lt28i) 
locked to Rogers. 
I was trying to replace the firmware but the bootloader is locked and upon further tinkering with it, apparently the bootloader cannot be unlocked. 
Is there any way or process to unlock the bootloader? 
Rogers cannot help with the unlock code because the unit model has been discontinued and cannot be found in their system.
Can any body provide me the unlock code? willing to pay if the price is reasonable.
