but certain requirements must be met before doing that.

IMO, here are some:

• You provide regular support and updates for the device
• You take full responsibility of the thread
• The most important part is, if the initial or original thread starter allows you to take his/her first post.

Hindi ko na alam kung meron pa. Sa arc s thread kasi, ako lang ung nagbibigay ng regular support at updates dun kaya sakin binigay. Pero in this case, kanino bibigay kung madami naman nagbibigay ng support? Siguro kung gusto nyo talaga pwede naman magbotohan.

may mga members din kasi tayo dito na gawa lang ng gawa ng thread, wala naman silang device at iniiwan na yung thread pagkatapos.
sample lang itong thread ng Xperia Z, Xperia U, Xperia P, Xperia Ion, Xperia Acro S. buti na nga lang, nauna akong gumawa ng Xperia S eh.
ganun din yung original thread ng Samsung Note 2. may gumawa ng bago kaya naglipatan yung mga users sa kabila kasi may nagme-maintain.

Ok lang na gumawa ng bagong thread.

Itong thread naman na ito ay ginawa in anticipation of the Xperia Z. There's not much use for this lalo na for existing users.

If someone manages to get hold of the Z, mabuti siguro na gumawa ng panibagong thread for discussions and tutorials.

Iba naman yung case ng Arc S thread.

The Arc S thread has been there for quite some time pero it contains pertinent information to guide existing users. It just came to the point that the thread starter was unable to maintain it so nangailangan lang ng bagong member na mag-manage nung thread na yun at para ma-update yung contents.

honga... malaki, kahon at malapad... pero I've tried it sa mall...
ang linaw naman ng display at crisp... hindi lang ka-level ng HTC One at Samsung Galaxy S4 pero sobrang linaw pa rin... atsaka...
it's water resistant... I can take pictures even swimming
patok sya sa init ng panahon at araw ng bakasyon

yup boxy yung feel nya sa kamay pero masarap yung feeling na tinatouch yung screen nya at likod dahil na rin siguro glass sya. haha.

nope... 1500 pa kuha ko sa widgetcity
ganyan lang talaga hitsura... walang cables na kasama.
mas ok nga yang may dock kesa panay tanggal ko nung flap covers para mag-charge

ahh ok. siguro next priority ko na lang yan. ipon muna ako for sbh20 bluetooth headset para di rin lagi binubuksan ung cover haha.

we're back

I'll post a mini review of the Xperia Z and a few sample photos taken during my philandering these past couple of weeks.
No modding has been done yet on my XZ. very much satisfied with the stock interface of Sony.

Firmware update via PC Companion available. unfortunately, hindi pa ito yung hinihintay nating JellyBean 4.2.2 update. but a few bug fixes and performance improvements are certainly welcome

Just updated my Sony Xperia Z via PC Companion - as of now no OTA updates here in Singapore.
Following are the changes which I can see:
1. Default Launcher is smooth now, bettter than before - though Nova is best
2. White Balance Display
3. Navigation Bars are now Dark Black
4. Pulse Light Notification - LED Notification Issue Resolved
5. NFC Firmware update
6. Widgets - World Clock
7. Lock Screen Wallpaper can be changed*
8. Small Apps - Icon Changed

version 10.1.A.1.434 nakuha ko imbes na yung sa taas. downloading ulit ako ngayon ng FTF at ifa-flash ko using flashtool na lang.

update: I can't seem to be able to manually flash the latest firmware pagdating sa - Flashing data ... walang nangyayari... 0% lang... ilang beses ko na inulit-ulit with varying combination sa wipe options. ganun pa rin eh... basa-basa muna sa xda

guys I would like to ask if pede ba tong xperia Z kumuha ng pics underwater specially sa swimming pool?

ang alam ko kasi video recording lang underwater how about taking pictures and gano ba to kalaki swak lang ba sa palm?

hindi pala supported ng flashtool 0.9.10.1 yung xperia z
may floating na beta version na supported na yung z natin

pwede... if you can press the on-screen capture key. yung iba, ginagawa na naka-set yung timer bago sumisid. nakalimutan ko kumuha ng underwater shot nung nagswimming ako... mukhang walang nakalagay na water resistant sya sa tubig alat kaya iwasan ilublob sa dagat hangga't maaari. sa Xperia ZR, specifically na naka-lagay na 1.5m of freshwater lang. mukhang may mga sumabit na sa salt-water eh. heheheh

punta ka na lang po ng mall kung pasok sa panlasa mo yung size nya. meron kasi akong note 2 kaya ok lang sakin size ng XZ
