themonyo and guys, can you tell me at what page in this thread I can see the steps in upgrading the build number and android version? Mine is Android version 4.1.2, build number 10.1.1.A.1.253.
It always tells me in Sony PC companion that I already have the latest software.

Are you rotted? Change your customization number. However if you are, i don't think you don't about flashtool and so.

So im assuming you're not.
What you can do is manually update it using Flashtool
. Find your desired firmware file and flash it. For starters, you can read here.

no. dati pag nagunlock ka ng bootloader, mawawala yung bravia engine. pero naayos na rin yun after ng 4.3 update

Guys, pupwede pa ba maibalik sa original build number yung unit ko when I bought it? I just installed the android 4.3 kasi. Though wala naman nako balak ibalik sa old version yung system ko, gusto ko lang malaman if I should have backed it up before I changed to a later version and how? Mawawala rin ba ang warranty?

if you are referring to the first firmware version, meron sa firmware repository. yes, you can flash it by using flashtool.

depende sa panlasa mo po ate
ZL kung gusto mo ng manipis na bezels (borders) at hindi ka naman particular sa water resistant
Z kung gusto mo ng water resistant and glass body
internally, identical sila. yung ZL may dedicated camera button din.

nope. iba network/carrier unlocking sa pagflash ng rom
iba rin ang bootloader unlocking

flashed the commercial version FTF posted at firmware repo. nasa dulong page.
nagloloko pa ata ang posting ng symbianize kaya di ko maayos ang formatting

update via flashtool: done
ginamit ko yung commercial version na firmware
changes as far as i have noticed during the 1st boot:
new boot animation. kulay blue na waves
battery icon, humiga
drop down notification nagbago. pag single finger swipe down: mga notif lang.
2 finger swipe down: quick toggles/settings
may setup guide din sa 1st bootup para sa sony account.
wala yung ART (Android Run Time) sa developer options.

I did not do a full wipe and just proceeded with flashing. nothing seems lost yet. a few hick-ups were encountered like dead boot after flashtool. restarted the phone and it just continued. after a few minutes of waiting to finish the android app update, tumuloy sa lock screen. medyo naging unresponsive yung pag-unlock. pinindot ko yung power button to return it to sleep mode, then power button ulit to bring it back on (hindi shut down ha, di ako nagrestart). lumabas na yung swipe to unlock, then proceeded with the Sony setup guide. after nun, nakita ko lang yung new battery at naging parang blank lang yung home screen ko. pumasok ako sa app drawer then pinindot yung home button, bumalik naman sa home screen ng maayos. medyo laggy initially pero malamang dahil hindi pa tapos magboot at magupdate ng apps. after a couple of minutes more, i tried exploring at tumino na nga sya. smooth na at walang hickups.

just wait for the pre-rooted stock rom. lalabas din yan in the next couple of days.
