as long as i am aware about windows 7, ginawa co tong thread na to to help everyone speed up their computer, especially ung mga mejo lumang pc na gusto mag install ng windows 7.
remember, if you want window 7 to be fancy, you care about those themes, those styles that windows 7 has o
prefered mu ang mas magandang background
wag mu nag basahin and thread co.
so simula na tau.
1. tanggalin ang mga program na ndi gingamit using revo uninstaller o kahit anumang laman ng pc mo na wala namang kwenta dapat tanggalin mo.
speaking of revo uninstaller, if you install a trial version software then uninstall it after it expires using revo uninstaller, then install it again balik ulit sa trial version and software na ininstall mo. di gaya ng built in uninstaller ng windows na kapag nag uninstall ka then install ulit it remains expired .
so about installing, dont just click next, next, next, next,,
magbasa naman kau. use your common sense.
karamihan kc sa mga programs ay bundled xa ng kung anu anu pa. mas mabuti pag nag iinstall use custom installation at basahin kung anu ang mga nakalagay, tignan nio rin kung nakaset ung program na iniinstall neo sa automatic to run at start up para i disable neo maliban nalang kung nid neo talaga xa i run sa start up

2. turn off windows update---ang ndi maganda sa windows update
is nagdo2wnload xa ng walang permiso.
dont wori about the update , you can do it manually
and kung pde sana kahit ung mga programs is i set neo xa sa manual update, even ur anti-virus para bumilis ang internet speed neo .. ayaw ko kc sa mga antivirus ee updated pa lang nag uupdate na naman. update neo na lang anti virus neo at least once a week.
3. use CCLEANER or other cleaners to remove junk files
but i preferred to use the disk cleaner kc mas marami xang nalilinis
4.REGISTRY CLEANER-pde rin kaung hindi gumamit ng registry cleaner, the CCLEANER
has a built in registry cleaner. if you do not frequently do install/uninstall
you can skip this step. download neo na rin pala ung tune up utilities para my registry cleaner kana my ccleaner ka pa, dame ksing features un ee. pero nakakabagal xa ng pc kc everytime na mag run ka ng software, iniaanalyze nea muna bago nea niraran kea makikita neo sa system tray na umiikot xa hahhahaha
but dont wori about this , you can set it to manual start up.. tzaka co lang ginagamit ang tune up ko kung nid cu lang xa
so panu natin gagawin na manual start up ang tune up. madali lang un mga dude. wala kc sa msconfig ang start up ng tune up ee, andun xa sa services.msc
hanapin neo sa dun then set it to manual. viola manual start up na xa.

peo ung bagong tune up utility ngayon ee ndi xa nakalagay sa system tray. tzaka neo lang xa makikita pag my notification ang tune up regarding ur pc. so it still runs in the background .. set it to manual, kc baka akala neo ndi xa naka start up kc d neo naman nakikita peo nagkakamali kau.
5.adjust visual appearance. gaya ng nasabi ko kanina kung ayaw mo maging pangit
ang appearance ng pc mo wag mo na tong basahin.. but if you're more on speed rather
than appearance (like me, im using xp) follow this step
go to start->computer->right click->properties
on the advance tab select performance settings then tick the adjust
for best performance, pde ka ring mamili ng gusto mo lang or the custom, just choose the bottom 3.

6. defrag ur hard disk --atleast every month
7. next , punta kau sa msconfig..
para mgawa un click on start then run, type msconfig
pag wala ang run sa start menu, press neo lang windows logo+r
then type msconfig->select selective start up
remember, start up are those programs that are running in the background pag turn on
mu palang ng pc mo..
dapat ang mga nasa start up lang ay ung mga program na nid mo mag run pag turn on
ng pc mo, like ur anti virus and so on.
7. balik tau sa start->ryt clik computer->properties
on the system restore tab, you can turn off system restore
you will gain space if you do this , pero i dont recomment it if
you often do install/uninstall kc ndi mo mga2mit ang system restore if nag install ka ng bagong software at nagkaproblema ka sa pc mo but if you turn if off youll gain disk space. nangangain kc ng space ang restore point natin ee.

8. sa system properties parin tau.
sa advance tab-> performance->settings->advance
punta kau sa virtual memory then click change
ito ung tinatawag na page file.
set ur minimum paging file to (size of ur ram x 1.5) ibig sabihin pag 1 gig
ang ram mo i times mu xa sa 1.5 un ang minimum ng page file mo
then the maximum is size of ur ram x 2 .. pero pag if laptop gamit mo..
taz 2 gig or higher ang ram mo. set ur virtual memory to no paging file para tipid ang battery
mo.
pag my partition ang os mo better na sa ibang partition mo
ilagay ang page file mo
but if you do have 2 gig of ram or higher peo nauubos naman dahil sa mga mabibigat na software na gamit mo or ung tinatawag nating memory hungry na mga software better na mag set ka ng page file.
8. select the lightest antivirus for ur system
i recommend kaspersky or eset.
wag ang avast kc mabigat, peo asa sau rin basta piliin mo kung san ka komportable.
then run a full scan once in a while
9. punta kau sa services.msc
search nio lang sa start menu.
dito tau magkakatalo kc magkakaiba po tau
ng paggamit ng pc natin. so i recommend to
do research first if you want to disable such thing in this area
i recommend din na i disabled neo ang print spooler
kc hindi naman natin nagagamit un.
tzaka if you want your desktop background to be permanent
i set nio sa manual ung themes. tzaka kung ndi naman kau palaging nagsesearch sa mga files neo disabled neo na rin ang windows search. tip,,, if you often do searching ur files, download mu na lang ung search everything, mabilis taz maganda gamitin.
10. next disable the user account control, walang silbi un
11. use adblock to speed up browsing tzaka gamit kau ng firefox or google
but i preferred firefox pro if ur internet security is kaspersky just turn on the anti banner features..

12. disabled the thumbnail preview, to do this just open a folder and go on tools on the top->folder options->(isss anu na nga ba ung i disable dun, xp kc aco ee) basta tgnan u ung thumbnail preview dapat ndi un naka checked.
13.download the tweak UI para i modify ang pc neo.
the simpler ur pc is, the faster it would be but it depends parin sa specifications

14. [ the higher the ram, the better]==this is not true. d neo kelangang bumili ng ram kung ndi naman nagagamit ng pc mo lahat ng ram niya, kunwari my 1 gig ka na ram taz nagagamit mo lang ay lets say 600mb d nio po kelangang mag upgrade. tzaka ka lang mag upgrade if kinakain lahat ng pc mo ang ram mo. gaya ng win7 na nanga2in hehehehe. dapat 2 gig ang ram mo para maganda ang takbo ng pc mo if ur running 32 bit. 3 gig naman if 64 bit.

15. sa mga bumibili ng bagong pc, d neo kelangang bumili ng mataas na kalibre ng pc gaya ng mga i3, i5, i7 kung ginagawa neo lang naman ay nag fa-facebook lang hahah sayang lang binili neo.
if your just doing simple things like encoding, chating, reading emails, browsing , netbook will do.. but if you run heavy apps go on with the the higher specification of pc. tzaka kc mga bagong programs ngayon they are built for the multi core processors kaya talagang need ng higher specs of pc.
16. disable windows features you dont use like the games. to do it search nio lang sa start menu->turn windows features on/off.
17. disable the screen saver and sound it can help a little bit.
18. do registry tweaking. gusto ko sana kau tulungan about dito pero XP kc gamit ko. magkaiba naman sila ng registry. search nalang po sa net about how to speed up ur computer with the use of registry tweaking.

19. pag po nagkasira pc neo, d neo po kelangang pumunta sa malalaking kompanya para ipaayos ang pc neo. ito po ang kalimitang maling ginagawa ng mga tao na kapag daw mas sikat na kompanya ay mas magaling ang technician, in such case meron din po peo ndi palagi. tau din lang po ang mas nakakaalam ng sakit ng pc natin kc tau po ang palaging gumagamit nito maliban nalang kung ndi tau aware sa mga parts ng pc natin.,
20. clean ur pc not only from malware or viruses..
ibig ko pong sabihin linisan neo. ndi un g nakatiwang wang lang at inalikabok..
i know madame akong mababasang critism about d2 sa ginawa cu, marahil sabihin nila na bat ka pa nag windows7 kung ganyan naman gagawin mo sa pc mo[im currently running windows xp], this is just for those who want to squeeze or gustong pigain ang bilis ng windows 7. im not saying kc na mabagal ang windows 7.

kaya pde neo pong wag gawin ang mga to
tzaka kahit po gawin neo lahat ng nandito ay darating din po sa point na babagal talaga ang pc natin kc everything we do on our pc nirerecord nea kaya wag neo po ako sisihin kung babagal na po ung pc neo. a lot depends on what we do on our machine.
in my case i use all of this to keep my machine in tough shape and i do reformating every 6 months.
