hindi na...automatic na siya iinstallan ng xp/vista/7 os nio...
pero minsan meron sila kalakip na driver disk para sa mga lumang os...

dun sa supply check nio muna kung external power supply ang gamit or usb powered...

kapag manipis yung external drive mo usb powered siya...

may nag short sa loob yan.....first, check nio yung power supply...tapos punta sa mobo...then sa mga peripherals na...

sir.tanong ko lang about sa pc ko.acvitated naman na yung windows xp ko.tapos few days after.hindi na ako makalog in kasi nagp-promt ung activate windows.pag click ko yes,lumalabas eh activated na daw windows ko pero babalik sa welcome tap0s ganun ulet.hindi ako makalogin.safe mode lang po ako nakakapasok.any suggestions po.

sir patulong nman po....may virus kasi ung laptop ko....dn try ko pong ei reformat lumabas nman po blue screen...nilinis ko na ung memory but still ganun parin...tapos ung trojan virus ayaw matanggal sa system 32...malwarebytes na gnamit ko kaso nag hahang up 86% lng....plzzz tulong po....

pano pre mag open ng drive na protected? Hindi ko kasi makopya yung mga files sa comp shop. Wala yung hard drive pero dun nkainstall lahat. Tapos pag manual ko tnype. Sabi eh you do not have permission to acess the drive.

How to Hide and Lock Hard Disk Drives in "My Computer"

1. Click on the "Start" button. Go to "Run", type "gpedit.msc" and press enter.

2. Wait for the "Group Policy" window to appear. Click on the "+" button beside User Configuration then click on the "+" button beside "Administrative Templates". Then click the "+" button beside "Windows Components" and then click "Windows Explorer".

3. Search for "Hide these specified drives in My Computer" in the options that appear in the right column of the window. Double click it, enable it and choose the drive(s) you want to hide.

4. Search for "Prevent access to drives from My Computer". Double click it and repeat the previous step if you want to stop accessing any drive by "command" (e.g, by typing "C:" in the address bar or "Run")

5. Close the group policy window.

6. Restart your computer for changes to take effect.


Tips:
=====

- You can change any one of the options from "Hide these specified drives in My Computer" or "Prevent access to drives from My Computer". Just choose the option best matching your needs.
- If you only want to hide the hard disk drives from "My Computer" and still want to access them via "Windows Explorer"; use the "Hide these specific drives in My Computer" option.
- If you don't want to hide the hard disk drive, but only want to stop accessing them; then use the "Prevent access to drives from My Computer" option.

Warnings:
=========

- If you are using the "Hide these specific drives in My Computer" option, your hard disk drives are still accessible by typing the Drive Letter in address bar or "Run".
- Any user of the computer with Administrative Rights can change these settings. Realize your disk drives are not as secure as originally thought. If you apply the prevent access, however, then nobody can access the drive.
