Updated: Since may press release na at officially announced ang PSVita, ill update now this post and with the latest specs

I'll post the details for PSP2 and 3DS later, tapos kayo na bahala, basta no flaming ah, healty discussion lang po tayo guys!

Top Screen: 3.53-inch widescreen LCD display, enabling 3D view without the need for special glasses; with 800x240 pixel resolution (400 pixels are allocated for each eye to enable 3D viewing).
Touch Screen: 3.02-inch LCD with 320x240 pixel resolution with a touch screen.
Cameras: One inner camera and two outer cameras with 640x480 (0.3 Mega) pixel resolution.

Nintendo 3DS Game Card: 2 GB Max. at launch.
Wireless Communication: Can communicate in the 2.4 GHz band. Multiple Nintendo 3DS systems can connect via a local wireless connection to let users communicate or enjoy competitive game play. Systems also can connect to LAN access points to access the Internet and allow people to enjoy games with others. Will support IEEE 802.11 with enhanced security (WPA/WPA2). Nintendo 3DS hardware is designed so that even when not in use, it can automatically exchange data with other Nintendo 3DS systems or receive data via the Internet while in sleep mode.
Game Controls: Touch screen, embedded microphone, A/B/X/Y face buttons, + Control Pad, L/R buttons, Start and Select buttons, "Slide Pad" that allows 360-degree analog input, one inner camera, two outer cameras, motion sensor and a gyro sensor.

Other Input Controls: 3D Depth Slider to adjust level of 3D effect (can be scaled back or turned off completely depending on the preference of the user), Home button to call system function, Wireless switch to turn off wireless communications (even during game play), Power button. The telescoping stylus is approximately 4 inches when fully extended.

Input/Output: A port that accepts both Nintendo 3DS game cards and game cards for the Nintendo DS™ family of systems, an SD memory card slot, an AC adapter connector, a charging cradle terminal and a stereo headphone output jack.

Sound: Stereo speakers positioned to the left and right of the top screen.

sa specs palang wala na yung 3ds.... pero huwag din natin maliitin si 3ds kasi siya ang first handheld console na 3d at lulupet ng mga games niya.....
hirap bumoto.... >.<

medyo ako din hirap pa bumoto, hehehe, since hindi pa nilalabas yung battery life ng PSP2

3DS - 5 hrs max lang
PSP2 - ???

di ko sure capability ng quadcore cpu, pero nabasa ko sa mga tegra dual core cpu na ilalabas eh almost mas matagal daw ang battery nun kaysa mga standard phones ngayon

ang boto ko ay kay PSP2(NGP)..

una sa lahat ang portability: mas malaki na ngaun ang 3DS kesa sa dati ..ang PSP2 ndi nag kakalayo sa dati nyang size ..

Specs
pag dating sa GPU: angat ang GPU ng PSP2 kesa sa 3DS meaning malakas at maganda ang grphics nya . pero mas maganda ang interface ng 3DS dahil sa 3D LCD nya ..

pag dating sa CPU: mas malakas at pang multi tasking talaga ang PSP2 kesa sa 3DS .. 3DS(2 cores) PSP2 (4 cores) meaning mas malakas parin ang PSP2 ..

interms of games ..syempre dyan na talaga ang labanan .. makikita natin kung sino talaga ang angat at kung sino talaga ang leading company pag datiing sa Portable console ..

well lets see ..

update, 4-5 hrs daw battery life nung psp2, same nung sa 3DS, pero much powerful ang gpu nung sa PSP2 kaysa sa 3DS so dapat angat dapat battery life nung sa 3DS

kung ang iphone 5 na ilalabas e meant for gaming talaga di yung accidental gaming device lang malamang mas uungusan pa nun 3ds.

Though fan ako ng 3D, pero sorry na lang if gawin nila akong duling if cross-eyed 3D ang rendering nila. lol

kahit na "mahina" ang specs nito compared sa ngp

size comparison:

note: halos magkapareho lang ang dimensions ng 3DS sa DSi samantalang mas malaki ang psp2/ngp sa psp

So far mas maraming games ang ilalabas sa 3DS compared to NGP, as of now. We will see if both handhelds were released.

For NGP, kung titignan mo medyo masalimuot yung gameplay, dami mong pwedeng gawin, kung hardcore gamer ka, eto bagay sayo.

For 3DS, same as it's previous console, medyo madali lang pag-aralan yung controls. Very child friendly kasi yung karaniwang games na nilalabas dito.

All in all, first priority ko is NGP then 3DS na.

Ang tanong na lang, ano kaya mauunang ma-hack (jailbreak)?

in terms of portability parang ayaw ko ng NGP....

pero bago ako bumili, tingnan ko muna kung gaano kaganda yung 3DS, in terms of the first portable to use 3D without glasses... since hindi mo pa rin makikita hangga't hindi mo hawak since most trailer, 2D version lang ng 3D game ang pinapakita..

pero a good move ng sony talaga ang pag tanggal ng umd.... ang lakas kasi umubos ng battery ang umd.... too bad ang backwards compatibility lang eh psn...

sana nga lang wag syang matulad sa ps3 na sa sobrang ganda ng specs, ang price ay mahal which turned off a lot of costumers.
