To take a good photo you don’t have to use an SLR, with the correct settings, a little knowledge and a little patience your smartphone can take pictures almost as good. For those final touches you can also use the pre-installed photo-editing software on your Honor phone.
We recommend these four image enhancements:
Adjust the Exposure whilst shooting.
This allows you to control the brightness and darkness of the image. Do you want to just quickly change the brightness? Then tap to focus the camera and when the circle changes to blue you can slide up or down on the little sun icon. If you want to permanently change the setting, then you tap on the three lines in the top right hand corner, then settings and then image adjustment.
Take pictures in HDR mode.
Let’s say you want to take a picture but the sun is in the way, it’s getting a bit dark or the picture has amazing contrast between colours like a really blue sky or vivid sunrise. Taking pictures that do these scenes justice is often a struggle. HDR stands for “High Dynamic Range”, in short if you take a HDR picture you will often end up with some stunning. Simply Tap again on the three bars and then HDR.
Beauty Mode.
Had a long night? Still feel the need to take a selfie! No worries, load up the camera and tap on “Beauty” and drag the slider to the desired position the further to the right you go the more “Beautiful” you get.

Have you ever looked a picture of yourself or your friends and thought “if only we had used Beauty Mode”? Well you can do just that. Open up your gallery and pick the picture you want, tap the screen, then tap edit. You now have lots of things you can play with, but this time you want “Beauty”. In here you smooth out wrinkles, enlarge your eyes, whiten your teeth, get rid of blemishes, get rid of bags under your eyes and best of all make your face thinner. Enjoy……..
